After monitoring my contract on 50 MH/s on Script, my payout on Litecoin is 3.6825. With current price of $26.97/LTC, my mining payout per 30 days is around $119. My rate of recovery on investment is about 7 months as compared to many other pools offering around 10 to 11 months. It’s.pretty easy to see the efficiency & advantage offered by Genesis Mining. The Genesis Team is really doing a good job; might see you folks when traveling for Northern Lights!
Currently you need to allow ‘access control expose headers’ if you don’t in your browser. The Etherchain API does not have the headers for this loaded in, so I couldn’t get cross domain requests to work, they kept getting rejected for “No ‘Access-Control-Allow-Origin’ header is present on the requested resource” if anybody has any ideas. Anyways, if the calc doesn’t load for you, you can install that CORS plugin and it will work. Hope to have that resolved soon.
One of the more unique elements of a mining rig is having a computer case that can handle 6 GPUs. Luckily people are making cases designed to hold a lot of graphics cards, an open air case is recommended for keeping the rig running optimal & cool.
Hashing24 is a cloud mining contract provider for individuals who want to get involved in bitcoin mining. The Hashing24 team has been involved in a mining business since 2012. Its initial mining power supplier is one of the industry’s leaders – BitFury.
Using WhatToMine you can check, how profitable it is to mine selected altcoins in comparison to ethereum or bitcoin But if you’re looking to profit from Zcash mining with no effort at all, Today we are going to show you how to mine Zcash with your CPU and GPU on Windows.
If you are looking for a solid Ethereum mining hardware, then the Titan cards are something you should look into. GeForce Titan Xp impressed many miners. The large amounts of VRAM are supplemented by an excellent hash rate without too much expenditure of power. Same as RX Vega 64, its top-end AMD rival, this card can be overclocked up to 42 Mh/s, but it will consume 300 W when pushed that hard. On the other hand, the RX Vega 64 achieves a very similar performance but for about half the price.
The most energy efficient GPUs around come from Nvidia. Unfortunately, Nvidia GPUs aren’t quite as good at solving cryptographic hashes as AMD hardware. More or less, if you want energy efficiency (without paying a fortune for a 1070 or 1080), your only option is an AMD graphics card. The most energy efficient of these is the AMD Radeon RX 460 or RX 470 (or the pricier RX 560 and RX 570). The RX 470 pulls around 145 watts, with the recommended power supply for it producing around 350 total watts. The RX 460 on the other hand, uses a total of 75 watts. That makes it easier to deploy on single-card mining rigs.
When engaging in any type of cryptocurrency mining there are risks, but profitability is if you make the right choices. In this article, we’ve given you some pointers on how to decide which way to go.
Some mining contracts terminate when they become unprofitable. You need to read the contract carefully to see if this is the case. Some providers own your contract until it pays back what it owes for being kept on when it is unprofitable – and only then do you start receiving payouts again.
I have bought the etherium and bit coin for the last two years. I am very excited and am very pleased to see the benefits. I have been informing others a lot and invested a lot of people. If I have a chance, I would like to invest and recommend more.
Streng says he has maintained “very strong connections” with his GPU suppliers, by virtue of being one of the earliest large ethereum miners. But the competition is heating up. “Now more and more miners are coming, and you have these scenarios where you experience shortages,” he said.

You’ll also need a power button, unless your motherboard has one built in (which is fairly rare). This will do the trick, or you can build one into your plastic crate if you plan to go that route (see below).

Mining Ether takes up a lot of electricity. On the plus side, though, if mining practices are carried out efficiently more income is generated through the sale of Ether. Ethereum mining calculators are available for calculating profits. So, there’s no need to get worked up since you’ll still get a profit at the end.
Nous sommes totalement d’accord. Mais je pense que vous confondez deux choses : la politique écologique, totalement légitime et très importante actuellement, et nos études techniques sur une technologie donnée (quel GPU est plus rapide, efficace, etc.).
If you only want to use 3-4 GPUs in your rig, then you’ll have a much easier time. Most boards with up to four PCIe slots should accommodate a GPU in each. Keep in mind that you can use old hardware that you have sitting around—the board doesn’t have to be recent. I dug out an old ASRock 970 Extreme4 that I used four years ago for litecoin mining, and it still works fine today for up to 4 GPUs (5 is possible with some work). So it’s possible to pick up an ancient board on eBay/Craigslist for nearly nothing and mine with less than 6 video cards.
So after 12 months we should be making around $2,160. However we haven’t deducted the hardware cost yet, so it’s more like we’re breaking even or even losing some money. This is true for Bitcoin’s current exchange rate (around $8,500).
Ram isn’t very important for your mining rig so we recommend only getting 4gb or 8gb worth of memory. If you’re running Windows you might want to opt for a minimum of 8gb while linux will run on 4gb of ram.
Energy-efficient What You Need For An Energy-Efficient Gaming PC What You Need For An Energy-Efficient Gaming PC Gaming computers are some of the most powerful consumer PCs on the market. Though beefy dual-processor workstations exist, they’re for work rather than play. People who buy a powerful computer for personal use usually do… Read More cryptocurrency mining saves you money, saves the planet, and can make you money. The trick is to maximize your hash rate per watt or reduce your system’s overall energy footprint. Here are the components and configuration settings needed to maximize your computer’s energy efficiency for mining the cryptocurrency Ethereum.
At current difficulty, if you mine in a pool, you will probably mine about 0.00001406 BTC per week.  That means, if difficulty doesn’t increase at all, it will take about 71123 weeks (about 1367 years) to mine 1 BTC.  Of course difficulty will almost certainly increase during that time.  As such, it is quite possible that it will take more than 6000 years to mine 1 BTC.
What kind of GPUs would you use? Do you have any examples? I’ve heard of external GPUs for workstation docks. In theory, it should work, since cryptomining generally runs off the GPU and doesn’t use the CPU very much.
Water – Through Wolkem’s efforts of practicing systematic water harvesting, water conservation, de-silting, by repairing of natural water channels, construction of water wells, water huts and anicuts to canalize water streams to villages, water availability is increased for use by local inhabitants and animals.
The conversion process isn’t completely straightforward, though. In the case of hardware miners, you can work out the monthly running cost by multiplying your electricity charge (ie: $ per KWh) by the power consumption of the unit and by a conversion factor of 0.744 (the ratio of seconds per month to joules of energy per KWh).
Litecoin confirms transactions faster (every 2.5 minutes, rather than every 10 minutes for Bitcoin) and it contains more coins – 84 million coins will be found in total under the LTC protocol, as opposed to 21 million for BTC.
Eken Cloud Mining is an easy, cheap, and good way to get or mine Bitcoin, Ethereum, Zcash, Dash or Monero. EKEN Cloud Mining was founded in 2016 in France where the office was set. With the mining operation in Canada, they provide daily payouts to the clients with a minimum amount of 0.0047 BTC and 0.12 ETH. EKEN is giving you a $15 welcome sign account.
Selection of the most ideal hardware for Ethereum mining can be extremely overwhelming if you are not well versed with the best GPU options that are available. GPU Ethereum miner is nothing but special-purpose hardware. GPU miners can be differentiated on the basis of their hash power as well as electrical consumption rates. Few GPU miners offer outstanding hash rates but fail miserably in terms of electrical consumption rates.
The mining calculators have a built-in functionality to directly select the type and the number of AMD or Nvidia video cards and to automatically get the corresponding hashrate needed for the profitability calculations. The information in the video cards list with Hash to Power used has been compiled with the help of multiple pools and miners and provides values for every Nvidia video card going back to the GTX 7XX series and for most of the more recent AMD video cards as well.
If I were you right now, I would take the 2k and just buy Eth on an exchange site of your choice. With the increase difficultly of mining Ethereum the value we hope increases to offset the extra cost of mining. Basically it will take you a least 2 months to ROI your rig BUT if you were to take that to the market and if Eth doubles in valve you would have made your money back with no added expense, no hassles, no extra heat in your place. Then you could build the rig for nothing.
Surtout que comme vous dites les articles sont souvent orienté du style “qu’est ce qui est le mieux pour miner ?” donc c’est quand même un peu le sujet. Et au vu des commentaires y a quand même quelque mineurs parmi vos lecteurs.
I am already a customer of Genesis and have been using them for 3 months now. The return from mining is decent and the ROI is great (1 year payback from the 2 year Monero contract).. I wish they have the BTC mining back.. most of the contract are sold out right now.
