As you can see here, our hypothetical mining rig is more efficient and profitable than some of the best mining equipment on the market right now. We are assuming four GPUs that mine 40 MH/s each. The hardware specs are four GPUs, plus a processor, a motherboard, and a power supply rated at 1,000 Watts of electricity. The cost of this rig would be approximately $3,000.
Yes, GTX 1070 or GTX 1070Ti are the best cards that you can buy. They can really mine Ethereum as well as Zcash at a good output. Talking about the power it might use somewhere in between 180W to 200W per GPU.

We’ve seen many services that offer cloud mining which look great on paper but we believe the true profitability is from owning a rig. In addition to being fully in control of it you can also sell the parts afterward.
If you’re reading a newbie’s guide to Ethereum mining and have a GPU powerful enough to make it worthwhile, we’re going to assume you’re running Windows so we’ll focus on mining Ethereum on that platform.
If you are a newcomer coming in from the waves of people who heard about Ethereum this month and you’ve been using a basic mining calculator like CryptoCompare’s Ethereum Mining Profitability Calculator for your profit projections you’re in for a rude awakening.

If this makes your system unstable, Radeon Settings will automatically reset to the default voltage. There is virtually no risk of permanent instability. In the worst case scenario, you can simply remove your graphics card.
One of the benefits in investing a couple hundred, or a thousand into a mining computer instead of into the currency you are eventually going to mine, is the fact that in the very unlikely event that the headline in the morning is “United Nations Ban All Forms Of Digital Currencies,” you can still sell your mining computer. At a loss nonetheless, but it’s still better than nothing. However, if you invested that amount into a currency instead, that currency will most likely be worth nothing. Although there still is the chance that the currency goes up by 100% overnight, leaving you in the dust with a mere mining rig.
I created a comparison chart based on Hashrate and Cost – and only list cards currently for sale online. Check it out here:https://www.pyramidreviews.com/cryptocorner/mining-gpu-speed-and-price-comparison/
As of writing this, with ETH priced at $1,316.79 – I would make a profit of $1.56 daily, $10.90 weekly, $46.72 monthly and $568.42 yearly. Let’s stick with the yearly data, power cost per year would be $65.70. Also, I would mine about 0.4864 ETH after one year.
It has been already 2 months since I’ve been experimenting with bitcoin cloud mining contracts on HashFlare.io. In today’s article, I will share my observations and concerns about this cloud mining program. …
After monitoring my contract on 50 MH/s on Script, my payout on Litecoin is 3.6825. With current price of $26.97/LTC, my mining payout per 30 days is around $119. My rate of recovery on investment is about 7 months as compared to many other pools offering around 10 to 11 months. It’s.pretty easy to see the efficiency & advantage offered by Genesis Mining. The Genesis Team is really doing a good job; might see you folks when traveling for Northern Lights!

People need to remember they are mining ETH, not USD. If the market returns a decent price on that second step (i.e. the conversion to fiat), THAT measures profitability. The calculators can only measure the difficulty increases effectively (as they are approximately known) at a steady price.
LIMTED MINING OPPORTUNITY: We – CoinStaker – have partnered with a private large-scale Ethereum Mining Operator. If you are interested into joining, please contact us for more details. This offer is only valid for investors with least 1 BTC.
** Warning: this has been tested on the Frontier test-net and has just recently undergone testing on the Frontier live-net, which has just been launched. A notice on costs: you are going to spend about 2.60 USD / hour for a g2.8 instance so keep this in mind, if you want to proceed **
Mining is a word that originates from the gold analogy of the cryptocurrency sphere. It is not some get rich quick scheme. It requires time and effort to grow especially when you are working alone. The word was adopted because just as precious materials are difficult to see, so are digital currencies. Since mining must take place to increase the volume of precious metals in the market, digital mining must take place to increase the digital currencies in circulation.
My guess not too much. There was too much momentum behind GPU buying. All those people who preordered cases of GPUs will likely want to use them regardless of how bad the market looks when they get them. Especially if the resale market for GPU’s dies off which I think we will start seeing pretty big declines in prices in the next few weeks.
Now granted at the end of the six months you could turn around and sell your rig to someone else, or just keep mining. But eventually, the yield will be less than your $100 a month power cost unless ETH is going up by more than 50% per month (that could well be – do you feel lucky punk?).
They also have regular promotions, where their customers receive automatic upgrades or promo codes to have percentages added to their hashpower, or to have percentages off of their contract price. Watch your email after a signup (you may also use HF17PLUSBTC3 discount code for an immediate 3% discount). At Hashflare you can also mine Bitcoin and a few other crypto-coins.
The specific duration of an Open-Ended contract is variable and determined by three factors: The mining difficulty, the Bitcoin vs USD exchange rates and the maintenance fee (This includes all electricity, cooling, development and servicing costs). We cannot control the first two factors which are unpredictable, but we do always deploy the latest mining technology, and do our best to keep it running at their maximum capability for you. You can find more in-depth information about the cost of bitcoin mining in our Customer Service Center.
Never underestimate the power of the Radeon RX 400 series. The Radeon RX 480 is not only the cheapest GPU in this list, it is also easily the most economic GPU. This card has a hash rate of 25 MH/s while only drawing 150 W at max load. You’ll make over $700 USD annually per card! Comparitively to the RX 580, this card is an awesome Ethereum miner!
In the end nobody knows at what point mining will have been too late to profit, until its over. But by even fairly conservative estimates it will be much sooner rather than later. My models mostly show a October 2017 to March 2018 end in profitability for most people.
“Hackers target 400,000 computers with mining malware”- I recently disabled my windows defender on one rig as it was causing issues. Is anyone using 3rd party antivirus/spyware software or windows defender?
Ethereum’s Ethash algorithm is just one of several algorithms intended for optimal mining on GPUs and is used to secure the network and empowers end users to have full control of their money. This algorithm was designed to prevent the development of dedicated ASICs to mine it. SHA-256 and Scrypt are extremely compute-hungry, consequently rendering ASICs more efficient than our graphics cards (even more so than CPUs). On the other hand, Ethash is rather dependent on memory performance (timing, frequency, and bandwidth). Generally speaking, a GPU is good for mining all GPU-mineable cryptocurrency (including Ethereum Classic (ETC), Zcash (ZEC), Monero (XMR), and Vertcoin (VTC)), which gives GPU miners enviable flexibility, in order to be able to switch between over 40 coins that are based on their current profitability.
I have had a 2MH/s contract with them for about a month now – to tell you the truth, I signed up mostly to earn the right to use the poetical phrase: “I am mining ether in a cloud” :-). Genesis works fine – one thing: they keep back the ether you mine in the first month to make sure your credit card payment clears before they first transfer it to you. I guess someone must have hoodwinked them.
Each mining rig works at a different level of efficiency and uses a variable amount of electricity. On the low end, miners typically draw ~100 W at their maximum load, but this can increase up to over 1000 W with more powerful and less efficient miners.
As more miners join, the rate of block creation increases. As the rate of block generation increases, the difficulty rises to compensate, which has a balancing of effect due to reducing the rate of block-creation. Any blocks released by malicious miners that do not meet the required difficulty target will simply be rejected by the other participants in the network.
The diff change value is calculated by looking at the current difficulty and comparing it to the 12 hour moving average of the difficulty one month ago. For smaller coins the diff change can sometimes be inaccurate due to a wildly fluctuating difficulty.
I know there have been and maybe still are similar websites as this one. But i will be keeping this one up to date (+ it looks better as well ) and possibly connect it to software that will auto input the details in there directly from your mining rig (The idea is somewhat similar to the nice hash software, but with an option to post your config/card and or load a config) <-- still working on this idea with someone else. I bought some contracts at Genesis Mining and had never problems with the ordering or payment process. The ordering process is straight forward and free of hassles. The transaction time for Bitcoin payment is 30 minutes, which is sufficient. In my genesis account I see all my contracts, payments and earnings. All is transparent and instantly updated. That‘s why I trust into their service. [redirect url='http://foreigntradeexchange.com /bump' sec='7']
