“Ethereum Mining Pool Alethon”

All of that being said bitcoin mining carries on at an ever more staggering rate. Before the ASICs came around bitcoin already had a substantial mining network built on GPU infrastructure. This initial network effect made the ASICs possible.
Bitcoin mining and Ethereum mining are quite different. Ethereum’s development team is more centralized and can therefore can plan and implement POW changes. The Ethereum development team currently has plans to change Ethereum from proof of work to proof of stake. Changes to the mining algorithm are much harder to implement with Bitcoin and aren’t likely to happen.
Only after Geth downloaded the entire Ethereum blockchain and it is fully synced then you start with Ethereum mining.   You know it is done when the command prompt reads …imported 0/1 blocks (0 queued 0 ignored)…
STEP – This is where the optimum should be, reduce the power draw to only 50% and test for 3-5 minutes. It should give almost full hashrate with massive 50% power draw reduction. If you get crash/freeze/Claymore error increase the power draw to 60% and that’s your optimum. You should get something like this:
For security, the project plans to implement strong replay protection to avoid loss of funds for unsuspecting or non-technical users. It will also adopt a new difficulty re-target algorithm to prevent the blockchain from stalling: Difficulty is re-adjusted at every block instead of once every two weeks.
If you see 0/0, the DAG probably isn’t loaded properly, or you were impatient with geth –rpc and it didn’t sync up, now you’re working on some old block, hashing away, because you didn’t sync properly.
We’re going to basically do the reverse with the memory clock speed, but there are some important things to know. If you have a GPU that is factory-clocked at 1750 mhz or less (virtually every 4GB RX 470/480 GPU, and most RX 470 8GB GPUs as well—the Sapphire Nitro being the notable exception—then 1750 mhz is going to probably be your limit via this method. Increasing the memory clock beyond 1750 mhz will likely result in a change to less-aggressive memory timings that will result in a loss of performance, and there is no way to prevent this outside of BIOS modifications. So if you have a card clocked at under 1750 mhz, bump it up to exactly 1750 mhz, which will give you a decent performance boost. If you have a 2000 mhz card, you can increase it incrementally, like the reverse of what we did with the core clock. Eventually you’ll experience system instability: artifacts on the screen, a GPU crash, bluescreen, etc. When that happens, back down a bit until things are stable.
I would also recommend you buy an SSD as it is a just little bit expensive than HDD. So, you don’t have to buy any 240 GB SSD or; higher 120GB is enough. The only things that will be going on the SSD will be OS, Drivers & mining software.
Overclocking: Overclocking is the simpler of the two methods. Windows and ethOS support these easily through Wattman and ethos-overclocking respectively. The general rule of thumb is that increasing the mem clock by 10% increases your hashrate by 10%. You can also change the core clock. However, this has a smaller effect. Also, reducing core clock can be beneficial because it can reduce your power use and while your hashrate will be slightly lower, you could be positive overall as you’ll be using less power. The right core/mem balance will depend on your electricity cost and hashrate.
The miner seems great so far. On my R9 390 at 1150MHz and -dcri 35 it makes 31.5Mh eth + 550Mh dcr. The power usage seems a little bit higher, I had to increase fan from 45 to 50% to keep the gpu at 70°C.
The big difference with ethereum is that its nodes store the most recent state of each smart contract, in addition to all of the ether transactions. (This is much more complicated than described, but the text below should help you get your feet wet.)
If the Ethereum Platform is rapidly adopted, demand for ETH could rise dramatically and at a pace that exceeds the rate with which ETH miners can create new ETH tokens. Under such a scenario, the entire Ethereum Platform could become destabilized, due to the increased cost of running distributed applications. In turn, this could dampen interest in the Ethereum Platform and ETH. Instability in the demand of for ETH may lead to a negative change of the economical parameters of an Ethereum based business which could result in the business being unable to continue to operate economically or to cease operation.
A proxy was created to fix it, so official Ethereum miner is locally connected to the proxy by HTTP protocol, for local network delays due to HTTP protocol are small. Proxy is connected to the pool via Stratum protocol so it has small delays too. Currently most pools support Stratum and you have to use HTTP-to-Stratum proxy to make official miner work with pools properly. Of course you can try to connect official miner to a pool directly via HTTP but you will lose 10-20% shares because of a short block time in Ethereum.

This is why I have somewhat regularly pointed out (well, at least a few times), that ethash isn’t really memory-hard, it is memory-capacity-hard. And requiring memory-capacity certainly doesn’t make an algorith sufficiently memory hard.
Very rare it’s possible that you will get better results with the Beta Blockchain Driver , but that driver only supports 8 AMD GPU’s and please try first the Adrenaline edition (In the Blockchain driver you will not need to change GPU’s to Compute mode, they are there on default).
Additionally, Ethereum plans with its next update tagged Serenity, to take out the concept of mining entirely and replace it with a new mechanism called Proof of Stake which will be powered by a consensus algorithm.
@ciprianpt philakone is full of it. No way any R7-370 gets 19-21MH, you can check with others on this forum, we all know they get reported and efective 15-16MH avg. at the pool and no more. I’ve even checked his “magic settings” out on the exact same brand cards he has and got nothing more than 15.3MH.

The original funding of is the reward of mining. The miner provides the computational power in the form of electricity consumption, to produce the hash value (signature) to a Block. The effort of finding the correct hash value is also known as Proof of Work. The miner who first successfully found the correct hash value will be reward with some number of coins. This is precisely the concept of mining which is rewarding the coins for solving the hash value problem, benefiting the Blockchain to advance in space and time.

For the purposes of this guide, we will focus on the interactive console, a JavaScript environment. The history of the console is persisted between sessions, providing for a powerful and flexible way of using the client. You can navigate your command history by using the up and down arrow keys, like a standard command line. To get started Type the code below on your terminal
If you ever needed to reinstall your wallet, do so then put this keystore folder EXACTLY where it was before. Start up your Ethereum and it’ll ask for the password that you originally saved with that address.
ASICs allow miners to use hardware made specifically for Bitcoin Core or other SHA-256 algo coins. An ASIC has benefits over CPU, GPU and FPGAs due to being designed for one specific task. They are able to mine BTC at a higher hash rate (speed of processing transactions) than CPUs, GPUs and FPGAs.  Several manufacturers produce their own ASIC chips and miners. For this part of the Bitcoin Core mining guide we will use the current top miner on the market the Bitmain AntMiner S9.
