The Ethererum Mining plans will run for a maximum of 2 years. In case Ethereum (“ETH”) will switch to proof-of-stake before the end of the contract, we will use the hashing power to mine the most profitable coin at that time, for you.
I have been following this article and built a machine using a Radeon RX460 (Gigabyte 4GB) on an Gigabyte GA-AM1M-S2H motherboard using a 460W PSU before trying a pico, and have installed all the relevant latest drivers.
Once full payment is received I will start building the rig and configure everything as mentioned above. You can also request some tweaks to the rig – we can talk about it during our call or text chat.
The GTX 1060 has a hash rate of around 21 Mh/s with a power draw of about 105W, it will make a profit of 47.24 USD per month. With a power cost of 6.43 USD per month. It will take just about 5-6 months to pay off the GPU depending on the price you get it at.
I have ZERO computer skills, and I am sorry if this question come across as stupid but I truly don’t have a clue how this all works. Do you happen to have directions for putting this together? Also, when everything is put together do I just turn it on and start mining? I am sure that I will need software to work this but do you know where I can get the software needed to run these? I am so sorry that I am asking noob questions, but I seem to always have more questions that keep popping up.
Genesis Mining Ether cloud mining contracts will run for 2 years. You pay fees upfront instead of during the lifetime of the contract. By doing this, miners will have better control on profit. From our latest calculation, 2017-04-03, the contract broke even after 355 days.

Cryptocurrency mining is a big buzz topic in technology these days. And why not? Utilizing your computer to digitally mine what seems like free money only begs the question, “where do I sign up?” machine will actually be “mining” or processing transactions for a decentralized currency, the hottest variant of which is called Ethereum.  Poised to overtake the industry bellwether Bitcoin, Ethereum has experienced explosive growth with roughly a $35 billion dollar market cap currently.
Be wary of the networks increasing difficulty. Even though you may make $10 one day, the next day you may make $9, so you should always be open minded about mining different coins when the time comes.
Dash, also called Digital Cash, offers instant and private payments online or in-store using their secure open-source platform. Dash is using the X11 proof-of-work algorithm that enables the mining of multiple cryptocurrencies singularly or at the same time. Included Cryptocurrencies are: Dash, Startcoin, and others. Autotrading (Mining the most profitable coin at any time and trading it) is enabled for Bitcoin, Litecoin, Monero and other Cryptocurrencies. You can see the full list in the dashboard.
New Mine Ltd was founded by Ibrahim Alkurd in 2016. The company specialises in the manufacturing and hosting of GPU rigs. Ibrahim created New Mine due to a lack of reliable companies within the space. He has been in the cryptocurrency space for 3 years and initially started in the market as a BTC broker. Since then he has extensive experience in ASIC and GPU mining as well as holdings in a range of altcoins. New Mine Ltd is currently in the process of creating a hedge fund for digital currencies.
Bitcoin mining is so called because it resembles the mining of other commodities: it requires exertion and it slowly makes new units available to anybody who wishes to take part. An important difference is that the supply does not depend on the amount of mining. In general changing total miner hashpower does not change how many bitcoins are created over the long term.
It’s the 2% or worse increase in difficulty every day that kills your chance of making an ETH profit – i.e. more than what you could if you just invested the cost of the miner/contract in fiat currency directly into ETH and held it.
This is great info. I’ve just built a mining rig, and I’ve written up a post on how I did it. The post focuses on building the case, not software or which components to buy. http://blog.timwheeler.io/building-an-ethereum-mining-rig/.
Here is our formula for working out monthly profit: M – W = P. M is the value of the amount of coins you mine per day, this can be found through sites like coingecko where it will tell you how much your crypto is worth. W is the amount you will be spending on kWh every month. This will then give you P which is your monthly profit. You can also find your daily profit by inputting your daily mined crypto into M and daily power usage in for W, the same can be done for weekly calculations. To find your real profit however, you first need to pay back the first investment into your mining rig. To find out how long this will take, you must use this formula: C / P = D, where C is the cost of your mining computer, P is the same as before (monthly profit), and D is the time it will take to pay back your computer, either in months, weeks or days. This depends on what you use for the first calculation. After you pay back the rig, every cent you make will go towards your total profit.
Installing GPUs: Depending on your graphics cards, download either Nvidia or the AMD driver. Install the driver, reboot the rig and check if everything is working correctly. Then reboot the rig once again, go to BIOS and adjust the following setting: change ‘Above 4G Decoding’ state to ‘Enabled.’
You are probably aware that Bitcoin cloud mining had a few issues in the past. There were a lot of companies that were deceptive. They pretended to have mining facilities, often taking photos from other providers and claiming them as their own, but in reality, they did not own anything, and they just took your money. Cloud mining providers often disappeared with your Bitcoins (we already lost some money when we tested various cloud mining providers for our readers).
The power supply determines how efficiently a computer pulls current from the wall socket. Unfortunately, the standard PSU converts from wall current (Alternating Current, also known as AC) to Direct Current (DC) at around 70 percent efficiency. That means 30 percent of the power pulled from the wall gets turned into waste heat. Fortunately, a variety of PSUs can convert at 80 percent and higher. When certified by the 80 Plus organization, a power supply unit receive an efficiency rating which varies depending on the load of the unit. The ratings vary between 80+, 80+ Bronze, 80+ Silver, 80+ Gold, 80+ Platinum, and 80+ Titanium. At the highest end of the spectrum, PSUs produce above 90 percent efficiency at all loads, but they tend to cost a fortune.
The power cost of this card is about $0.43 per day which is significantly lower than both the aforementioned Radeon R9 GPUs. Moreover, it requires a power consumption of just 150W – half that of the R9 7990. For this card, the cost per MH/s at $7.96. This GPU features an 8GB GDDR5 RAM.
The good news is that getting started with Ethereum Mining is now easier than ever.  You do not need to download the full Ethereum blockchain, which is now over 20+ GB’s and still growing!  You also do not need to manage clunky command line miners with manual instructions.

If you are looking for a solid Ethereum mining hardware, then the Titan cards are something you should look into. GeForce Titan Xp impressed many miners. The large amounts of VRAM are supplemented by an excellent hash rate without too much expenditure of power. Same as RX Vega 64, its top-end AMD rival, this card can be overclocked up to 42 Mh/s, but it will consume 300 W when pushed that hard. On the other hand, the RX Vega 64 achieves a very similar performance but for about half the price.
NEO is a cryptocurrency that has greatly gained in both popularity and value over the past year. Like most cryptocurrencies, this one runs on a blockchain, but has some key differences from the masses. One of these differences, the use of GAS in the …
