All forex trades involve two currencies because you’re betting on the value of a currency against another. Think of EUR/USD, the most-traded currency pair in the world. EUR, the first currency in the pair, is the base, and USD, the second, is the counter. When you see a price quoted on your platform, that price is how much one euro is worth in US dollars. You always see two prices because one is the buy price and one is the sell. The difference between the two is the spread. When you click buy or sell, you are buying or selling the first currency in the pair.

Several codenamed prototypes of the Ethereum platform were developed by the Foundation, as part of their Proof-of-Concept series, prior to the official launch of the Frontier network. “Olympic” was the last of these prototypes, and public beta pre-release.[26][27] The Olympic network provided users with a bug bounty of 25,000 ether for stress testing the limits of the Ethereum blockchain. “Frontier” marked the tentative experimental release of the Ethereum platform in July 2015.[28][29]
To calculate the size of the PSU you require you will need to add together the power requirements of all of your components. A site like PCPartPicker will do this for you perfectly. Add 20% on to the required as a safety factor. Also, make sure you’re using a high-quality, well recognized, and high-standard PSU, as if it blows, you could say goodbye to some very expensive equipment.
To start mining, all you need is an incredibly simple computer. You will need a mouse, a keyboard and a screen for it as well, but this is only required for the setup, so you should be able to use any existing ones that you may have.
Genesis mining has had many problems since I got my contract at the end of last June. There are many missing mining days in my history. Many missing payout days. I have a balance that needs to be paid out well above the minimum threshold for payout. Their customer service rarely responds. They had some security issues that threw a wrench in the works that they still haven’t fully accounted for. Fortunately with the crazy run up in price in Dec I have made my investment back. But don’t believe the calculators. They do not account for the rise in difficulty levels. When I started I was getting .1 to .09/day now its down to .01/day.
All disputes or claims arising out of, relating to, or in connection with the Terms, the breach thereof, or use of the Ethereum Platform shall be finally settled under the Rules of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce by one or more arbitrators appointed in accordance with said Rules. All claims between the parties relating to these Terms that are capable of being resolved by arbitration, whether sounding in contract, tort, or otherwise, shall be submitted to ICC arbitration. Prior to commencing arbitration, the parties have a duty to negotiate in good faith and attempt to resolve their dispute in a manner other than by submission to ICC arbitration. The arbitration panel shall consist of one arbitrator only, unless the ICC Court of Arbitration determines that the dispute is such as to warrant three arbitrators. If the Court determines that one arbitrator is sufficient, then such arbitrator shall be Swiss resident. If the Court determines that three arbitrators are necessary, then each party shall have 30 days to nominate an arbitrator of its choice — in the case of the Claimant, measured from receipt of notification of the ICC Court’s decision to have three arbitrators; in the case of Respondent, measured from receipt of notification of Claimant’s nomination. All nominations must be Swiss resident. If a party fails to nominate an arbitrator, the Court will do so. The Court shall also appoint the chairman. All arbitrators shall be and remain “independent” of the parties involved in the arbitration. The place of arbitration shall be Zug, Switzerland. The language of the arbitration shall be English. In deciding the merits of the dispute, the tribunal shall apply the laws of Switzerland and any discovery shall be limited and shall not involve any depositions or any other examinations outside of a formal hearing. The tribunal shall not assume the powers of amiable compositeur or decide the case ex aequo et bono. In the final award, the tribunal shall fix the costs of the arbitration and decide which of the parties shall bear such costs in what proportion. Every award shall be binding on the parties. The parties undertake to carry out the award without delay and waive their right to any form of recourse against the award in so far as such waiver can validly be made.
By the way: I do not NEED forex as an income stream – I am retired, and have a modest pension which is sufficient for my modest life style. In forex I would simply let my money compound until it reaches an amount which would allow me to take out some of it every year to get extra money to do the things I’d like to do in my last few years on earth (hopefully I have another 30-odd years, but more realistically only 20-odd years), and also leave something for my heirs. My strategy has been to start live trading by just putting $100 into forex every month, and letting it grow via compounding, at whatever rate of compounding I could achieve, for up to five years, until I have sufficient skill to be confident of earning about 0.2% per trading day. That was my modest target when I started. But what you write seems so MUCH more ambitious compared to my much-more modest goal that I am kind of blown away! So again, could you let me know what strategies I can use to make the kinds of returns you say one CAN make in forex?
Some numbers – running ethminer on my CPU gives me a hashrate of 0.248 megahashes per second (MH/s). For comparison, each of my over-clocked AMD R9 390X GPUs gives me a hashrate of about 31.58 MH/s. My GPU gives me 127x the hashrate of my CPU. It is a lowish end CPU AMD FX(tm)-6350 6 core processor and with motherboard + CPU + disk drive + fans consumes about 200 Watts, or 4.8 kilowatt-hours (kWh) per day.
MEMORY – This works identically as the GPU core, except it’s for the memory. This is the holy grail, this is the most important part of GPU mining and it’s very RANDOM. There is no fixed values from which you can know that it will work 100% on your GPU. There is just one proper way of doing it without risking any problems. We will need to disable P0 and P1 by double clicking on them.
Ethereum is mined just by using the memory of your GPU, so the GPU’s core is almost not affected by  the ethereum mining at all. This gives a possibility to utilize the GPU core for mining some other coins in the same time as you mine ethereum without affecting its hashrate. Of course if you would mine the dual coin at full potency, it would affect the ethereum hashrate, that’s why we will need to optimize the intensity of the dual coin, lowering it at such degree that it’s not affecting the ethereum hashrate.
I live in Canada, and the Canadian regulatory authorities have set limits on the margin requirements – and thus the leverage – available to Canadian traders. I trade EUR/USD, and for this currency pair, the margin requirement is 4.3%, which means my effective leverage is capped at a tad over 23:1. However, I use OANDA as my broker, and they assure me that regardless of my account size (up to, I believe, a maximum of $10 million) my leverage can stay at a tad over 23:1 … until and unless the relevant Canadian regulatory body alters the margin requirements for the pair EUR/USD. So I can use the same leverage of about 23:1 no matter what my account size. Wouldn’t that mean I can keep the same percentage of daily profits – or weekly, or monthly, or yearly profits – even with a relatively large account size? And even with a leverage of only 20:1, I would need to use only $10,000 of my $50,000 account to make a $200,000 trade, would I not?
Tapping into the digital gold rush of our era can be intensive, and a huge drain on your machine. If you’re mining for Ether, we can help you perfect your hardware and earn more in less time, with minimal impact on your electric bill.
After you have installed the driver restart your PC. If you’ve  already modified your GPU’s before, there might be a possibility that you won’t be able to see them anymore. That is most likely a problem with the RX 570 series and it’s very rare with some RX 580 models. The problem comes from the bios mod, because it changes how the GPU’s work and you  will need to Patch your drivers to them work properly or  the driver will just end up disabling  or hiding the GPU’s (Error 43). This is only needed if you can’t see your bios’ modified GPU’s in the Windows Device Manager. Download the Pixel Clock Patcher. Run the program, it should give you a message that the values were patched. After that restart your PC and you should have proper working modified GPU’s.
Making 1% to 2% is possible, and can be done. I know many traders who do this, or make more than that per day consistently…but I also know even more traders who lose money everyday. So it’s possible, but it takes a lot of work. To make 1% or per day, we risk 1% of our account on each trade, and make about 4+ trades per day. Overtime, assuming a decent strategy where our wins are our bigger than our losses, and say a 55% win rate on trades, 1%+ a day is very feasible.
The EUR/USD rate represents the number of USD one EUR can buy. If you think the Euro will increase in value against the US Dollar, you buy Euros with US Dollars. If the exchange rate rises, you sell the Euros back, and you cash in your profit. Please keep in mind that forex trading involves a high risk of loss.
Thanks for the great guide. As a 72 year old, trying to figure things out isn’t always easy. I tried to ask this question on Bitcoin forum for Claytons mining software, but can’t figure out how to post the question in the right place. I have set everything up as you said and am mining Ether at 1600Mh/s, but I am apparently mining Decred as well at 1550Mh/s because the batch file from the Clayton miner has in the batch. Here is the batch file: setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0 setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100 setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100… Read more »
Forex, also known as foreign exchange, FX or currency trading, is a decentralized global market where all the world’s currencies trade. The forex market is the largest, most liquid market in the world with an average daily trading volume exceeding $5 trillion. All the world’s combined stock markets don’t even come close to this. But what does that mean to you? Take a closer look at forex trading and you may find some exciting trading opportunities unavailable with other investments.
Approximately every 12-15 seconds, a miner finds a block. If miners start to solve the puzzles more quickly or slowly than this, the algorithm automatically readjusts the difficulty of the problem so that miners spring back to roughly the 12-second solution time.

With every good there will be some complaints, as customers found that the drivers in the card had a tendency to stop working. Some have also said that when they were playing games with this card installed, the screen would start to flicker and even cause the system to freeze only after 10 minutes of gameplay.
It would mean that I would have to personally persuade each person to send me a little donation and thats simply not worth those 5-10 dollars I initally wanted. Not at all. So I would take some of these developer fees which you wouldn’t get anyway.
