How on earth could you have 80 asic chips sharing a 3GB VRAM? That’s not possible. The chips may be capable of 2.5 MH/s without a memory bottleneck, but what difference does that make? The only other explanation would be they have 3 GB of VRAM per chip, which would be .24 TB of VRAM. And, of course, they give no price.
Designed for Bitcoin, Litecoin, Dash mining. BITMAIN Antminer S9, L3+, and D3 – The world’s most efficient miners and world’s first bitcoin mining ASIC based on the 16nm process node. The Antminer S9 follows the same form factor as that of the hugely popular Antminer S7 and is nearly the same size. It has more than thrice the power and twice the efficiency of the S7.
If this seems too difficult or too much of a hassle then you are a wuss!  Just kidding! ?   Even though building an ethereum minging rig is fun and a lot like having a money tree, the process of tuning it and making sure it’s cranking away is not the easiest thing to do.  That is why cloud mining exists.  If you want to take a look at cloud mining and what it would cost, click here.
As the price of Ethereum hovers around $300, you may be wondering to yourself whether or not it’s worthwhile to begin mining. Like Bitcoin, Ethereum is a proof-of-work coin that uses miners to confirm network transactions. The profitability of mining varies from person person and changes over time – usually becoming less profitable as the coin matures.
Ethereum and ZCash are the potential successors of Bitcoin, a cryptocurrency which is winning popularity. Mining Ethereum, ZCash is very profitable, it is expected that Ethereum, ZCash will grow further in price.

Graphic cards are particularly adapted for these simple, repeated and parallel operations : they have many ALUs (Arithmetic Logic Unit) or shaders for video processing. Whereas your CPU is a very good executive, a GPU is an unmatched laborer ! For the same cost, you’ll end up with a far better mining rate with a GPU. And should you prefer CPU-mining, you’ll need a high-end CPU, meaning usually high-end mobo plus RAM. Moreover, having several CPUs is expensive and quite unusual for desktop computers, while multi-GPU doesn’t scare anyone.
(I did get my ASIC Jalapeño miners from BFL before they were busted up, I did order more when they came around and offered to let everyone order more, and I still did manage to earn a pittance over and above my initial investment on both batches, regardless of the absolutely ridiculous production and shipping delays.)
-etha   Ethereum algorithm mode for AMD cards. 0 – optimized for fast cards, 1 – optimized for slow cards, 2 – for gpu-pro Linux drivers. -1 – autodetect (default, automatically selects between 0 and 1).
Note: In this tutorial, I assume that you have your graphics cards connected to a motherboard and have already installed/updated Windows 7 and the drivers for your graphics cards. Make sure to install CUDA if you are using NVIDIA cards.
The CPU Mining and GPU Mining sections display your current hashrate. Use the dropdown menu in each section to choose the number of CPUs/GPUs you wish to dedicate to mining (assuming you have more than one).
3) Choose a memorable download folder for the “Ethereum Wallet” zip file. Extract it with a suitable file extraction tool, navigate to the new folder the extractor creates and then locate and run the Ethereum app.
We’ve seen many services that offer cloud mining which look great on paper but we believe the true profitability is from owning a rig. In addition to being fully in control of it you can also sell the parts afterward.

For the hard drive, using an SSD is essential. While SSDs are more expensive, you will only need a 16GB one, which will set you back less than $30. If you’re planning to solo mine, it’s recommended that you buy a 32 or 64GB one, but again this will only be a few dollars more.
