I purchased 6 1070 FTW edition GPUs and they have two 8-pin power connectors each. Do I need to get more powers supplies to accommodate the extra 8-pin slot? Also, should I have connector branch from the power supply to both 8-pin slots or give each slot on the GPU its own connector to the power supply?
I don’t understand why others ASIC resistant cryptocurrencies such as Vertcoin and Monero aren’t worth mining. At all. It’s not worth buying a high-end GPU to mine these coins even for those who don’t have to pay for electricity bill. But I do. And it’s pretty expensive here (~$0.121) .

Why do you need yo use the powered risers with the B250 MB? If I need to use powered risers do I need to make sure each bank A/B/C GPU and riser is from same PS? Or all powered risers need to be on PS as MB?
If you only want to use 3-4 GPUs in your rig, then you’ll have a much easier time. Most boards with up to four PCIe slots should accommodate a GPU in each. Keep in mind that you can use old hardware that you have sitting around—the board doesn’t have to be recent. I dug out an old ASRock 970 Extreme4 that I used four years ago for litecoin mining, and it still works fine today for up to 4 GPUs (5 is possible with some work). So it’s possible to pick up an ancient board on eBay/Craigslist for nearly nothing and mine with less than 6 video cards.

I assume cards with 8+6pin would draw 150W+75W from the pcie cables so the powered riser may have less stress? But that would mean the riser needs its own power input cable which can be scarce depending on the PSU setup.

What PSU valtage do you recoment since both the logic that you used with the 20% rule and this calculator by OuterVision (https://outervision.com/power-supply-calculator) (the same as the CoolerMaster one) is suggesting that you buy “bigger” PSU? (GPUs use a variable of 150, meaning around 1000 and then adding the processor and the 20% rule getting us at 1600W PSU or 2x650W PSUs) And since we are the the PSU topic – what brands do you recommend and do you recommend getting 2 PSU in the first place?

Etherem mining uses hard hashing techniques to mine the blocks, so a computer with a good or decent GPU and a good amount of graphics card is required. GPU can prove to be a good deal for Ethereum miners. GPU mining is energy-efficient and we do not have to worry about the systems storage.
