HashGains is a leading cryptocurrency mining service provider in the world. You do not need to invest in mining equipment anymore. All you need to do is buy a hashing rate and start mining. The company has adopted cutting-edge technology in association with its Green Mining Data Centres that completely run on renewable sources of energy. HashGains provides excellent mining services at an affordable rate. The HashGains mining platform simplifies the Ethereum Mining process and provides the newly mined coins in the easiest way. The list of services include –
Step 3:Now you need to run the program you just downloaded. To do this you need to run Command Prompt. You can do this by searching in the search function in Windows for “CMD” and then clicking on it when it shows up.
2.5 Type in cd prog and then press the tab button. This should look like this “C:\>cd prog” and then press “tab” which will automatically complete the phrase for the closest fit found in the C: drive just like autotext does on your Iphone. After pressing “tab you should see C:/> cd “Program Files” and press enter which should give you a new line saying C:\Program Files>.
We are going to be using the very popular Claymore Miner.  Get the current version here from Claymore’s original Bitcointalk thread and download the current version from the Google or Mega download links he provides (don’t use other people’s links).  The current version as of the time of this writing is 9.6 and you’ll want to get the Catalyst and Cuda version (not the Linux version).
A quick question: So you’re saying that setting the MC to 600 Mhz gives you a hashrate of 30mh/s? I have a R9 390 8 GB (I’ve been testing it out for Ether mining before I invest in building a multi gpu system), and my MC/CC is set to 1500/1000 mhz and gives me around 30 mh/s. When I overclock it to 1675/1185, it gives me around 34 Mh/s… (Claymore, Win 7 64 bit OS).. temp stays between 60-70 degrees C.
Building a 6 GPU Ethereum mining rig is a fun project and a great source of passive income. This guide will help you find and assemble the best Ethereum mining hardware currently available to build your very own DIY Ethereum mining rig. Assembly time is about 3 hours and this mining rig is currently generating between $300-500/mo of digital currency depending on the current market price of the coin you are mining (Ethereum, Monero, Zcash, etc).
Bad job Tom’s. Just add fuel to the GFX card debacle. Irresponsible and just wrong. First the user must go out and OVERSPEND on a GFX card and then follow this article and start mining and increase the shortages even further. Hm, good job Tom, good job.
MyEtherWallet is an open-source client-side Ether wallet running on Javascript. MyEtherWallet makes it easy to create secure wallets without the command line or the need to run an Ethereum client on your computer. By running MyEtherWallet on an offline computer, you can create secure paper wallets for your ether holdings.
There are several aspects to take into consideration when choosing the best GPU for cryptocurrency mining, but the most important one is hash power, or hash rate. Hash power refers to the card’s performance when it comes to solving the algorithms that make up the blocks, so the higher the hash rate, the faster the card can crunch through the numbers and collect the rewards. Hash performance is measured in hashes per second (H/s), but the mega multiplier is commonly used, so a card’s performance is usually measured in mega-hashes per second (MH/s), which stands for millions of hashes per second. Giga-hash and terra-hash per second (GH/s and TH/s) are also used sometimes, and stand for one billion hashes per second, and one trillion hashes per second, respectively.
I’m wondering why EVGA’s 1080 Ti FTW3(both air and air and water cooled) have a dual BIOS if that is the case which I am fairly positive it is. I guess we just have an extra level of protection if we update the BIOS incorrectly.
Mining can often be a quite strenuous process that is not error free. So if you are setting up your own miner, it can be useful to interact with some communities in order to get proper guidance. One of my favorite communities is Reddit, and although Reddit has a vast array of sub-communities, or subreddits, there are some for mining. Such as:
The simplest answer is that it is profitable. If you do it correctly, you can earn a lot more money by selling the mined ether (ETH) than what you spend on electricity. It should be said that ethereum mining profitability really depends on how much money you are willing to spend on upgrading or building a computer that is designed specifically for ethereum mining.

Like Litecoin, it’s based on the same fundamental blockchain concept as bitcoin, with blocks and hashes and such, but Ethereum adds its own distinctive twist. Funded in 2014 through an initial coin offering, Ethereum fancies itself “an enormously powerful shared global infrastructure” that, in addition to serving as a digital currency, runs special applications called “smart contracts.”
On January 1st 2017, $1,000 would have gotten you 1.041 BTC (1 BTC was worth $960 on January 1st), 122.39 ETH (1 ETH was worth $8.17 on January 1st) and 20.622 ZEC (1 ZEC was worth $48.49 on January 1st).
I finally made my decision to build middle ground between fun and profit. I bought some things I wouldn’t have bought if it were solely for profit. For example I purchased a rather nice open air mining case. That added about $100 to the build.  I could have easily made that from scrap wood. I also bought a Noctua silent CPU cooler to reduce the noise to a level I could live with.  I did feel the best GPU for mining in my case was the NVIDIA GTX 1060 because of its low power consumption, super low price, and decent hashrate. I’ll make plenty of money on it, but its also a nice machine and showpiece in my office.
If you setup you rig in a colder place like Russia, or northern Canada then you could probably save your money on cooling equipments. Also, you can use the heat to warm your house, which would save your heater bills.
While our introductory course was a basic overview that familiarized you to tools and resources in a broad this course is much more concrete with walkthroughs, personal examples, and analysis. A real emphasis is put on tangible experiences based on over a decade of combined experience.
