The command prompt will show you your current hashrates and GPU temperatures. You don’t want to run your cards too much above 65C since they can get damaged. Adjusting airflow and cooling can lower the temperature of your cards.
(5) Install Overclock Tool: MSI Afterburner as the overclock setup and monitor. The following shows an optimal overclock settings for Nvidia GTX 1070 GPU, which produce 30 MH/s, 100 Watt power draw, 61C temperature with 40% fan speed.
Even if this is true , Why you guys think it will kill GPU mining on ethereum ? . There is no information on how much hashrate those things will give and how much they will cost . I bet that the ratio between those ASIC and the current rigs we have will not be much . And even if that is not  the case , There is always another coin that will take ETH place as number 1 option for GPU mining .
Unfortunately it’s hard to troubleshoot without any error message. Do you ever get problems running graphically intensive applications like games? You could also try downloading a stress testing app for your GPU and seeing how it performs:
This software is new; need it to improve, but if they have success? Imagine that an easy way to mine!!! Just install the software open an account and start to mine. Is so easy!!!! No commands, no tree or four programs, not to open ports manually, etc.
Although not as potentially powerful as an ASIC, GPUs are more flexible in their application. The GPU is the Graphics Processing Unit. It’s the chip on your graphics card that does repetitive calculations, often for processing graphics. While we’ll discuss the use of GPUs in mining, they’re often used in gaming computers for “smooth decoding and rendering of 3D animations and video.”
We’ve never done an article on GPU mining on Legit Reviews before, but continued interest in the ethereum project has caused Ether (the name of the cryptocurrency that runs on the ethereum blockchain app) to skyrocket in price by more than 2,800% this year alone. On Sunday, ethereum traded at an all-time high of $250.41, according to data from industry website CoinDesk. With increases and coin prices like that it has spiked the demand for discrete graphics cards in order to do GPU mining. Ethereum discourages the use of custom ASICs and FPGAs when it comes to mining, so this is something you could do if you wanted to on a PC with a powerful discrete graphics card.

@Ursium I really like your opinion and hope everyone that joins Ethereum thinks the same. Must of the alt-coins are a pump and dump ecosystem and this just tells me people do not care about cryptocurrency. they just live the dream of getting rich easily.
Please follow all the steps described in this guide by their order! This is a collection of my experiences with fixing various mining problems. I have helped over 500 people with their problems and this guide should have an answer to most or probably all of them ?
After you have synced up to the Ethereum network it’s time to fire up a mining software solution specifically designed for Ethereum, one that you are going to be able to pull out of Geth or one that you can download independently all on your own.
Every developer seeking to engage and make use of smart contracts on the Ethereum blockchain needs Ether to proceed. It is popularly called the fuel that runs Ethereum. It is a less expensive way of running transactions on the network when compared to buying Ether. You can also decide to sell your Ether after mining.

Developers plan to ditch proof-of-work, the algorithm that the network currently uses to determine which transactions are valid and protect it from tampering, in favor of proof of stake, where the network is secured by the owners of tokens.
Thanks so much, I am starting this now, just for the fun of it and see how it goes. Around R50 a day isn’t bad, on my 6GB 1060. I don’t know my electricity usage yet, but will keep an eye on it and try balance it out. But doubt I am using R50 a day.
The value of dedicated GPU is going beyond the needs of gaming, it is proven to fulfill the professional needs for Deep Learning researches. As it turns out the modern graphics cards are very good at achieving the framerate requirements for virtual-reality. To our biggest surprise, GPU is at mining crypto-currency again, such as Ethereum, so we can profit from our current hardware setup. This article will run through the basic mining knowledge, and guides how to setup a Windows 10’s machine with a GPU to do Ethereum mining.

  1. You may have to ensure you have the correct virtual memory enabled (minimum 16GB). To do this, search for system in the start menu. Open system and on the left hand side click ‘Advanced System Settings.’ Go under the advanced tab, under performance settings, and advanced again. Then click ‘Change’ under virtual memory. Uncheck the box that states to ‘Automatically manage paging file size for all drives’ and then input a custom size of 16384 (or whatever is the maximum allowable value) into the Initial and Maximum size fields. This will prevent you from having any errors with virtual memory.
you get the error on 4000 or 8000 bytes wrong size, that means that you want to flash the wrong bios (some older cards have a 512kb bios, exact same new version of cards use a 256kb bios, that means that you wanted to flash the older bios to the new cary type and of course you got rejected. You need to always be careful about what bios you are flashing).
Most people think that Linux is a more stable operating system or because it’s so lightweight, that it runs better, it can have more GPU support (Windows 10 supports 12 GPU now) and should be a better option for 24/7 mining. It would seem logical, but it isn’t:
