This video card is the older brother to the RX 580. New to mining. I currently have 6 msi RX580’s stable at 29.6 MH/s on claymore. In the pool I was in I don’t think I’d ever get paid dponing 177 MH/s. On nicehash i can’t figure out how to set it up so I’m only mining ETH and my MH/s is only 22.3. Any help would be appreciated.

The way Claymore software tries to force your GPU’s to stay at those clock rates is terrible, and it will not work properly if a new Driver from AMD comes out.

Moving away from a single GPU to a mGPU configuration makes the most sense if you are even considering mining.  You already have the necessary cost of operation (motherboard/system power) so adding GPUs to the mix pulls more return than a single GPU.  We could have run many different mixed GPU workloads but we picked a few and ran with it.
A: 99.9% of Cloud Mining sites are Ponzi schemes or fractional reserve Ponzi’s.  Even though there are a few that have been around a long time, there have been no 3rd party audits of the hashing power sold and profits are usually very low unless you are promoting heavily and getting others to join in (another red flag of ponzi related activity).  Short Answer – Our advice is DO NOT buy into Ethereum Cloud Mining sites or related Deposit Investment/HYIP programs.

  1. Disable all components that you don’t plan to use. This might save a little bit of power, and since your miner will likely be running 24/7, it’ll add up. For me, that meant disabling onboard audio, the USB 3.0 ports, one of the SATA controllers, the Firewire port, and the serial port.
    ETH mining is ASIC-proof, meaning that only GPU’s and CPU’s can be used to mine ETH. CPUs, in all reality, is too cumbersome to use as a means to mining Ethereum; CPU’s simply will not do the trick. AMD video cards are preferred and usually are more efficient, but you can also mine via NVIDIA cards as well.
