“Ethereum Bergbau Nebel”

It would mean that I would have to personally persuade each person to send me a little donation and thats simply not worth those 5-10 dollars I initally wanted. Not at all. So I would take some of these developer fees which you wouldn’t get anyway.
Ethereum uses a different hashing algorithm to Bitcoin, which makes it incompatible with the special hashing hardware (ASICs) developed for Bitcoin mining. Ethereum’s algorithm is known as Ethash. It’s a memory-hard algorithm; meaning it’s designed to resist the development of Ethereum-mining ASICs. Instead, Ethash is deliberately best-suited to GPU-mining.
@high110 everything is going perfectly except ethminer says JSON-RPC problem. Probably couldn’t connect. Retrying in 1… forever. And geth won’t mine with more than 1 GPU with the -mine option. – anon58192932 Oct 1 ’16 at 5:36
Different cryptocurrency has different hash algorithm and requirements, but the essence of a hash is the same. If a miner be the first who compute the hash result matched the requirements against the whole network; then that winning miner will be reward with the coins! That’s exactly the goal of mining. Obviously, only using a small computing resources winning against the whole network is very difficult; that’s why the Mining Pool concept can be applied to join force to win.
There are no ASICs for Ethereum. It’s currently impossible to get latest gen GPUs from any retailer, or for anything close to retail price on eBay, because there’s a mad rush to get into Ether mining.
Figuring out how to set up all the mining equipment for Ethereum can be a daunting task for someone without the technical expertise. With the market expanding, more and more people are looking to invest in Ethereum. What some people may not realize though is that you can also mine Ethereum to passively generate an income every month.
Bad job Tom’s. Just add fuel to the GFX card debacle. Irresponsible and just wrong. First the user must go out and OVERSPEND on a GFX card and then follow this article and start mining and increase the shortages even further. Hm, good job Tom, good job.
Once you successfully installed the driver with just one GPU, shut down your PC and plug in all of the other GPU’s. After that, when you turn the PC back on it should automatically detect each of them and it will install the drivers for all of them. Just remember that it will take some time (about 5-10 minutes) for all of the GPU’s to be detected properly. You can open up the Device manager, to see if all  of the GPU’s are listed there. Just turn the PC on and wait 5-10 minutes before doing anything, Windows will do it’s job.
2. You say that “You can also change the memory clock. However, this has a smaller effect”. Is this for real? Everywhere I read about overclocking it has been said that the memory increase increases your hashrate. The core clock also increase it, but this affects the power consumption.
Brilliant explanation work, now I comprehend why Claymore’s miner works so well. If I ever get appointed to one of Vitalik’s recently metioned “Ethereum courts” any virtual violations will be dismissed automatically.
I am telling you right now that with the broad innovation that Ethereum brings to the table combined with an instant network of transaction processors eager to climb onboard would give Ethereum a fantastic start. Far better than building a new processing network. If you read my above post “Ode to GPU mining” you’ll see that GPU mining is and has shown to be very well distributed and provides excellent and accessible avenues for true enthusiasts to really contribute above and beyond average users who will probably care more the functionality of Ethereum more than mining it.
Mining Ether takes up a lot of electricity, and you are right in being concerned about this. On the plus side, though, if mining practices are carried out efficiently more income is generated through the sale of Ether. You will need your Ethereum Mining calculators for the process.
As the name might suggest, ethminer is where the actual mining happens. Ethminer interfaces with the GPUs and performs the work, and it gets it work from geth. To run ethminer, we have to tell it where geth is located:

Each mining rig operates at a different level of efficiency and uses a variable amount of electricity. On the low end, miners typically draw ~100 W at their maximum load, but this can increase up to over 1000 W with more powerful and less efficient miners. With the amount of mining variation, you’ll want to calculate your power cost per day and compare that to the estimated return per day when picking out a miner.
Again, you will need the bare minimum, 4GB will do. I chose to go with 8GB just in case. Also, if you’re going to be doing solo mining, it’s a good idea to have as much as possible at the start as this will make syncing the block chain a lot faster. Of course, once that’s finished, you can remove the excess.
Note that buying used cards from crypto miners is not recommended, due to the wear and tear mining places on cards. If you resell your card after it’s no longer useful for mining, you should mention that it was used for mining, then price it accordingly.
Create a tradeable digital token that can be used as a currency, a representation of an asset, a virtual share, a proof of membership or anything at all. These tokens use a standard coin API so your contract will be automatically compatible with any wallet, other contract or exchange also using this standard.

-mvddc   set target GPU memory voltage, multiplied by 1000. For example, “-mvddc 1050” means 1.05V. You can also specify values for every card, for example “-mvddc 900,950,1000,970”. Supports latest AMD 4xx cards only in Windows.
If it’s not included in your driver software, you’ll need a utility that monitors overclocking and temperatures. (While overclocking is not intended for more advanced users, it may reduce the lifetime of your GPU, and certain minor alterations may yield significant hash-rate improvements.)
So you just found out about Ethereum mining and looking to build your first Ethereum mining rig. This guide will walk you through choosing GPUs, hardware, and what software to run for mining Ethereum.
He uses a vending machine as a real life example. You input the code B6 into the vending machine. The vending machine takes this code, and then executes the code. The candy bar labled B6 is then dispensed.
There are real figure heads who run Ethereum unlike Bitcoin, which is owned by nobody. Ethereum also features decentralized apps. The Ethereum blockchain is the base, and other people can build decentralized blockchains on top of Ethereum.
Talk about big, bad and beautiful, not to mention cool. I considered mining for a short period of time, but I didn’t go to the darkside. Gaming with my GPU in the 30’s and 40’s took some time to get used to.

  1. Once it’s down, you need to open up another Command Prompt.  Simply click right click on your already open command prompt in the taskbar at the bottom of the page and click on command prompt in the menu that appears.
Third, select the Graphics card you intend to use for mining. The calculator automatically enters the correct hashrate and power consumption. If your card isn’t listed or you’ve modified its performance, select the Custom option and enter the relevant figures manually. Note that GPU hashrates are entered in (Megahash per second aka MH/s; denoting millions of calculations per second).
PROFILES – This serves to save current overclock settings for further use. For example after you turn on your PC, you can automatically load all the  overclock settings to the desired GPU’s.We will have 1 profile per GPU on your mining rig. First make a new .txt file in the folder in which you have the  OverdriveNtool.
Tools like SMOS or EthOS are very expensive and they offer you as they describe it: “Simple” mining monitoring solutions. Their tools for overclock and undervolt are not working properly. Those Linux based OS CAN’T have the same Overclock/Undervolt settings as on Windows, or they will crash because of poor driver support (800mV on Memory works on most GPU’s under Windows, but almost none on Linux…).
