Something miners started to notice was as the DAG increased in size AMD Radeon 400/500 series cards took a performance hit, whereas the GeForce 10 series and older AMD Radeon 200/300 series cards didn’t. So this may be bad news for those that snapped up Radeon RX 470/480 and Radeon RX 570/580 graphics cards.     If you can be clear about what exactly do you mean by RX cards speed problem that would be helpful. And, when you post in 2018 that and RX 580 is getting 18 MH/s and falling fast, what is this information based off of.
    In order to mine correctly, we’re going to need to run two programs. The first is ethminer, which talks to your GPUs and does all the hashing work. The second is geth, which talks to the network and keeps up-to-date with the blockchain. Ethminer is written in C++ and comes from the project cpp-ethereum, whereas geth is written in Go and comes from the project go-ethereum. We’ll talk about installing both, and then follow up with how you’ll run each together.
