While the coin is set to launch two weeks from now, the Bgold codebase is not yet fully developed and ready to be deployed. Implementation of the new proof-of-work algorithm and replay protection, as well as the new difficulty re-adjustment scheme, are yet to be finished.
ALWAYS have your Motherboard’s Integrated GPU as your main video output or target display, that way you will remove the stress of mining the GPU’s to produce a video output (in the bios settings, it should be under the Chipset option, and will you need to set the PCI-E to IGFX (integrated graphics adapter).

From the illustrated output, Ethereum mining logs are prefixed with ETH:. We can see the miner is fetching jobs from eth-us-east1.nanopool.org:9999 that we have setup in the miner script, which confirmed that we are joining the Nanopool mining. The observed GPU0, the only GTX 1070 on the PC, hashing at 30 MH/s. When the mining pool is lucky and win, the SHARE FOUND will be reported. The shared computation effort will be awarded relative to the overall pool contribution to the winning Block!
How far will the cryptocurrency madness go? While the number of different coin varieties is always increasing, only a handful have attained enough market capitalization to be truly viable. Ethereum, a blockchain-based distributed computing platform, and its associated token, ether, is one of the most popular.
Even harder to find than the RX 480 is the AMD RX 470. A year ago, this was the absolute best card for mining. With a slight BIOS mod, it can do 29Mh/s while pulling 140 watts. Just like the other AMD cards listed, my favorite model is the AMD Sapphire RX 470 Nitro+ (Model #11256-10-20G).

Although not as potentially powerful as an ASIC, GPUs are more flexible in their application. The GPU is the Graphics Processing Unit. It’s the chip on your graphics card that does repetitive calculations, often for processing graphics. While we’ll discuss the use of GPUs in mining, they’re often used in gaming computers for “smooth decoding and rendering of 3D animations and video.”
  I write miners since 2014. Most of them are recognized as viruses by some paranoid antiviruses, perhaps because I pack my miners to protect them from disassembling, perhaps because some people include them into their botnets, or perhaps these antiviruses are not good, I don’t know. For these years, a lot of people used my miners and nobody confirmed that my miner stole anything or did something bad.
Bgold contributors like Regojo and Kuhne think that Bitcoin’s proof-of-work hashing algorithm was essentially broken by the introduction of specialized ASIC (application-specific integrated circuit) mining hardware. In the early years of Bitcoin’s existence, individual users were often also miners; this has since become concentrated into relatively centralized data centers operated by professionals.
For the hard drive, using an SSD is essential. While SSDs are more expensive, you will only need a 16GB one, which will set you back less than $30. If you’re planning to solo mine, it’s recommended that you buy a 32 or 64GB one, but again this will only be a few dollars more.
As my title says, I am a complete newbie to the Ethereum Project, but not to the cryptography in general. Although this will be the first time I will consider investing in the mining process. And I just would like to know, what is the best current hardware is out there for mining, and where best to find available in stock to ship.
Now is a good time to perform a quick test. Simply double-click your mine.bat file to launch the miner. It’ll take a minute or two before it actually starts mining, but it should get there eventually. When you see a scrolling log of outputs that includes non-zero hashrates (expect hashrates in the low to mid 20s for unoptimized GPUs), you’re good to go. If the script fails to start, or you see errors, make sure that you’ve created the script exactly as outlined in the guide.
If you would still like to get started, the steps below outline the general process. You can find much more detailed instructions on one of the many websites dedicated to cryptocurrency mining, but this gives you a broad overview.
NANOPOOL – I use this pool to mine ethereum, and to monitor rigs. At the part of -ewall after your ethereum adress you can put    “yourEthWallet.yourRigName/yourReportingEmailAddress” . That way nanopool will send you a email if one of your rigs goes offline. Also at nanopool website you can check your current hashrate of your rigs. If you see one rig reporting lower hashrate than it should you know something is wrong. Nanopool works very well as a monitoring tool.
The only difference is that NVIDIA GPU’s work better in dual mining Sia coins rather than Decred as it’s the case for AMD cards. In dual mining you can get even slightly higher hashrate than just solo mining ethereum. I found out that the best pool for SIA is Nanopool.
If you see 0/0, the DAG probably isn’t loaded properly, or you were impatient with geth –rpc and it didn’t sync up, now you’re working on some old block, hashing away, because you didn’t sync properly.
Step 1: The first thing you need to do is go to this link download Geth. Geth is the program that communicates with the Ethereum Network and acts as the a relay between your computer, its hardware and the rest of the ethereum network computers so if a block is mined by another computer your Geth program will pick it up and then pass on the new information onto your GPU or CPU for mining.
Looking at the RX 470, we can do some quick math ($175 / (211 GB/s) ) to see that it costs $0.82 per GB/s.  Compared to a single GDDR5 chip (e.g. Micron EDW4032BABG), which costs $6.83 and has a bandwidth of 24 GB/s, we can do better at $0.28 per GB/s.  So, if we can build custom chip (either ASIC or FPGA) than can interface with 9 GDDR5 chips, we’ll have a memory bandwidth of 216 GB/s at a price of $61.47.  This still isn’t a finished mining product, since we need a FPGA or ASIC memory controller, circuit board, & support electronics.  If the shipped final assembly (adding additional parts, processes, testing, & logistics) costs less than the RX 470 (only $175), then the custom board will beat the GPU based card.  That is, until a faster, more efficient, cheaper graphics card comes to market.  For instance HBM graphics cards cards are already available.  But, if you find low cost, off-the-shelf, FPGA or ASIC chips with 5-10 DDR or HBM memory controllers, or your company is experienced in building custom high memory bandwidth ASIC solutions, you may be able to beat out off-the-shelf hardware.  But, if in this situation, you should probably change your business model and build graphics cards instead, since that’s already a huge market.
