Perfect transaction ans very easy procédure. If i have something to recommend , it’s to explain to the investor/buyer that there is change taxe when you décide to invest on something. For exemple, i have bought for 3831 euro in Dash but i have 80 euro exchange taxe with visa. I think that the person who decide to invest have to know this charge un more. But for the rest, i hope that my minning WILL be profitable for the future. If it’s the case, i WILL invest again in this plateform.
Upgraded my contract to 17.3450 MH/s. I receive daily payouts which is good – currently it seems my contract will gain a good profit for me. But do not forget: if I had bought some Ether directly the gain would be even bigger! The big benefit of a Cloud Mining contract is for me the minimal risk => you can directly start mining by investing a small amount of money. If you want to know more about my cloud mining experience check out my blog https://imine.blog/.
The time to mine BTC was back 3 years ago – so if you find a way to go back in time call me. Jokes aside, mining is best left to those crazy people who have the capital to try such a thing – at the moment it’ll just net you a loss (break even if you have cheap electricity) and definitely not using GPUs. You want to use GPUs, go look into setting up a script farm with actual GPUs, not old crap from 10 years ago.
You do not need to buy any kind of extra PSU and that will be a total waste of money. You can purchase a splitter that will work – http://www.parallelminer.com/product/18awg-pci-e-6pin-to-dual-8-pin-y-splitter-extension-cable-2x-62pin-cable-6in-each-side/ . Let me know this helped.
AMD cards are likely the best choice for the budget-conscious. However, the top-end Nvidia cards outperform them in terms of power efficiency. Carefully weigh your options, and keep in mind your budget and power costs.
Advanced Micro Devices’ (AMD) share price jumped after it beat revenue estimates thanks to cryptocurrency miners snapping up the firm’s graphics cards. Shares rose 11% after the chip company announced earnings on July 25, but the firm’s stock is up 152% over the last 12 months, making it the fourth best performer on the S&P 500, CNBC reported.
The HD 7990 was released in 2013 and is harder to purchase from stores as this series has been superseded by the R9 series released in 2015. Internally, the HD 7990 with 6Gb RAM consists of two AMD HD 7970 GPUs with 3Gb RAM each packaged together.
You suggested the usage of the GIGABYTE 1070 with the model number #GV-N1070WF2OC-8GD, however, on Amazon least on the German Amazon), the power usage of it is noted as 500w and I don’t really understand how six of those are supposed to work together with a PSU with 1000w. Is that information simply wrong or am I missing something?
I wouldn’t recommend mining now as the market is very unstable and the btc value can change instantaneously. I would recommend buying a better graphics card and mining after 3-4 months when the market settles down so the difficulty will decrease and the value will increase
I have 2 8 rig systems. Risers i use https://m.newegg.com/products/9SIA4RE6KD8226 i connect 6 to the molex and 2 to sata. Problem with sata is not so much the saftey issue it’s the ability to have a constant reliable power supply. My opinion anyway.
Post this successful trial, the BIOTS organisation is looking to conduct more of these events at different university campuses across North America, Europe and Asia. Do get in touch with Andre Wolke on Twitter if you would like to host one of these.
The elevator pitch: The announcement that the US would be leaving the Paris Agreement sparked outrage across the country and around the world. But with China, India, and the EU stepping up to fill the leadership void abroad and American cities, states, businesses, and citizens increasingly choosing…
Sarah Lark is the pen name under which this German author wrote two trilogies about the early days of New Zealand. Each trilogy covers roughly 1850 to WW I, and some characters appear in both sets of books. The themes, however, vastly differ, so you don’t feel like there is any repetition. The books cover interesting and critical events in the history of New Zealand, from the “Maori Wars” to the participation of New Zealand (ANZAC) at Gallipoli, but they also contain details about sheep ranching, coal mining, whale and seal hunting, as well as the principles of the development of flight.
Conversely, if you are up for it, CPU mining can be done. Just type in ‘ETHMINER’ then the enter key to start the process. The building of a DAG is still required in this step after which Geth takes over communication with Ethminer.
Connecting the risers should be self explanatory. One thing to remember is that the little 1x PCI Express cards can be placed in the 16x PCI Express Slot (the big PCI slots). If you by any chance purchases a riser with a sata to molex adapter, make sure to replace it with a direct molex connection. The sata to molex adapters have been known to set fire.
That being said, the more powerful your mining hardware is the more likely you are to successfully mine Ether, and in turn generate a profit. If you use one of the three GPUs mentioned above, you’re off to a good start.
The conversion process isn’t completely straightforward, though. In the case of hardware miners, you can work out the monthly running cost by multiplying your electricity charge (ie: $ per KWh) by the power consumption of the unit and by a conversion factor of 0.744 (the ratio of seconds per month to joules of energy per KWh).

  1. AMD Radeon R9 295X2 is the most powerful ethereum mining GPU available in the market till date. It maximum mining power is 40 Mh/s for mining ethereum. It will cost you about $$$$. But the bad thing with this GPU is that it is mostly out of stock on Amazon and other sites, I think because of the high demand of this GPU in a mining community. SO if you are lucky enough to get it then it good if not don’t worry there are many more options you can go with.
Various GPUs have different efficiencies, so you are looking for a balance between the one that makes the most money and consumes the least amount of electricity. GPUs made by AMD and Nvidia are both used for mining. Only the top end GPUs from both companies with the fastest processors and 4GB or more of RAM are used due to the need to perform so many calculations quickly. 4GB is currently the lower limit on GPU memory, but that will go up over time as the DAG file grows. This file is loaded into memory on each GPU and is the transaction database that it is checking against. These GPUs are the primary cost of my new mining rig, weighing in at $200+ each.
