Als Mining bezeichnet man das “Ausrechnen” von Kryptowährungen wie Bitcoin, Ethereum oder Zcash: Statt solche Währungen durch das Tauschen von Euros zu kaufen, setzt man den eigenen Computer darauf an, neue Coins zu “schürfen”. Damit in nützlicher Zeit Erträge kommen, braucht man sehr leistungsstarke Hardware, die unter Last ordentlich Strom frisst: In Foren wird eiffrig gefachsimpelt, welche Mining-Rigs besonders rentabel sind.
Ein Mining rig ist nicht Zeitaufwendig, er Läuft ja von selbst sobald er 1 mal eingerichtet ist und das ist Leicht. Bevor die Stromkosten den Gewinn auffressen kann man damit ja aufhören ist ja nicht so das man es weiter machen muss und kann wenn es sich nicht mehr Lohnt die Hardware wieder Verkaufen, macht man es richtig, bekommt man auch noch genug zurück, so das man den Einkaufspreis Teilweise wieder zurück hat, zudem guckt man mal alle 3-4 Tage in den Market Capitalizations und weiß wie es um den Markt steht und Verkauft etwa jede woche seine gesammelten Coins, außer man will darauf Spekulieren das er steigt.

Second, I worked out a way to benchmark using different DAG (directed acyclic graph) file sizes. Chances are the other clients can do this as well, I just didn’t work out how. I felt it important to test various DAG file sizes to show future performance as well. As the DAG file size increases, so too does the difficulty. A new DAG is generated for each epoch around every 30,000 blocks and right now it is estimated that this will happen every 4 days or so. For example, at the start of the month Ethereum was at DAG epoch #126 and now we’re already over #130 and next month we should hit #140, but don’t hold me to that.
Something miners started to notice was as the DAG increased in size AMD Radeon 400/500 series cards took a performance hit, whereas the GeForce 10 series and older AMD Radeon 200/300 series cards didn’t. So this may be bad news for those that snapped up Radeon RX 470/480 and Radeon RX 570/580 graphics cards. As of writing, it isn’t clear if this is simply a driver issue or a weakness of the Polaris 10 architecture. Anyway let’s take a look at the results…

A: As long as your system meets the general requirements and has at least one GPU with at least 3GB of RAM, you can mine Ethereum.  Some Gaming laptops do have high end cards, but with the considerable heat generated from mining there could be other impacts to your laptop so it’s best to go with a desktop build.  Virtualized environments that you can rent usually do not have enough powerful dedicated GPU in them, or are simply not profitable if they do.  There are currently no ASICs for Ethereum (as it is designed to be an “ASIC Resistant” Proof Of Work hashing algorithim, so if you see ads for one – RUN.  ASIC’s are still profitable for mining some coins (Bitcoin, Dash and Litecoin), but for home built Mining Rigs, Ethereum and other altcoins are still profitable to mine (whereas Bitcoin is not profitable on a home pc – even with many powerful GPU’s do the Bitcoin ASIC technology available).

Solche Dual-Slot-Grafikkarten brauchen mehr Platz.
One other reason is the philosophy of the Dev team and community. There is no real technical reason Bitcoin, Litecoin, and other coins that are currently being mined with ASICs couldn’t, with a switch to another POW algorithm, be put back in the hands of GPU miners. After you’ve managed to setup all of the GPU’s profiles and have tested them, and you are sure that they produce no, or very few memory errors, you want to make sure that your mining rig works automatically.

The AMD Radeon RX 580 is one of the very best GPUs for mining, and in fact is a bit of a victim of its own success, as it can sometimes be difficult to find. However, its popularity is warranted, as it offers an excellent hash rate of 29 mh/s, while also keeping the electricity consumption low as well. It’s also cheaper than the GTX 1070, and if you don’t mind tweaking a few settings, you’ll be very pleased with this card’s mining performance.
@Gite Sometmes antivirus prevents it from opening. Double check to ensure firewall settings are allowed on ethereum wallet. Try to right click on it and run as administrator. Try to redownload the file just incase it was corrupt.
