“Ethereum Mining immer noch profitabel”

“Ethereum Mining immer noch profitabel”

My recollection of how Bitcoin turned out indicates that most of those people will not make money. That, in fact, the simple rules of how markets work mean that most cannot make money, on several counts:
PoS ist umweltfreundlicher, senkt die Schwelle für Erstinvestitionen ins Mining, ermöglicht geringere Interwalle zwischen den Blöcken und ist eine Voraussetzung für das Sharding der Blockchain, mit dem Ethereum eine fast endlose Skalierbarkeit erreichen möchte. Es könnte sich also lohnen, diesen Weg zu gehen.
“But the key goal that we are trying to achieve with this fork is to build a perpetually ASIC-resistant version of Bitcoin,” said Robert Kuhne, another Bitcoin Gold contributor, in explaining the purpose of the project to Bitcoin Magazine .
The Vega represents the latest in AMD GPU architecture. While the standard air-cooled Vega series runs a little too hot for serious overclocking, this special edition stays cool enough to reach 42 MH/s, while drawing just under 300 Watts! This feature represents an amazing value: It can match the overclocked performance of Nvidia’s Titan Xp, but only costs half the price.
In Notepad create a file with the below text and save it as a gethsync.bat, in your Ether folder. Launch this bat file every time before you start mining. You can also create a shortcut to it on your homescreen.
For the hard drive, using an SSD is essential. While SSDs are more expensive, you will only need a 16GB one, which will set you back less than $30. If you’re planning to solo mine, it’s recommended that you buy a 32 or 64GB one, but again this will only be a few dollars more.
Set up SSH: If you’re going to set up SSH, there are two important things you need to do. Firstly, set up port forwarding on your router, so that traffic redirects to your rig. Secondly, use the below commands, to change the SSH port to something different e.g. 2221. While this won’t stop an attack if there is a port scan, it will reduce the possibility of an attack by a crawler. You can also consider using private & public keys to 100% ensure that only you can access the rig.
You will be asked to enter a passphrase.  You will not be able to see what you are typing.  Guard this passphrase with your dear life!  It locks your account and keeps your private key safe.  If you lose it or gets stolen, you will lose all of your Ethereum that is held within the wallet held by that Private key.
A very high cost to design and manufacture a batch of ASICs keeps most of this market. The designers of the coin often design ASICs in an attempt to stabilize the mining of the coin long term. and keep interest in that coin.
As most altcoin algorithms are memory heavy, ASICs would not be faster then GPUs as memory speed would bottleneck device as ASICs and GPUs use same memory. Only gain from ASICs would be fact, that they would be more power efficient, but impact on mining would not be as near as close as it was when BTC went from GPUs to ASICs when we say massive increase in performance and massive drop on power usage at same time. And that is biggest reason why there are non and most likely wont be one in near future.
An ideal DAC platform would harness the collective processing power of full nodes to process transactions, secure the network, and payout equally based on per block generation, similar to a mining pool. I know it sounds socialist, but it’s not because work is required. Every miner is contributing to the total processing power of the network as long as they are connected.
5. I’m a software developer, so I think I cannot help you to build your mining rig properly or provide you with the list of necessary parts, please ask this question here on forum or search here, there are many threads related to hardware.
We’re specifically mining on an MSI Z270 XPOWER Gaming Titanium motherboard powered by an Intel Core i5-7600K quad-core processor and 16GB of Corsair Vengeance 2666MHz RAM. It’s more muscle than any miner needs and will surely gobble up a bit more power while mining than is desired. But it’s the simplest of systems we have on hand that’s ready to mine 24/7. CPU horsepower is much less important in a mining rig, so low-power CPUs are preferable at this time.
Ever since I’m building new cryptocurrency mining rigs I’m including SSD rather than HDD. The reason is SSD is fast and by using SSD I would increase the transfer speed and decrease the time. Also, other things that I think about SSD are – They use less power consuming and also if you are starting up your mining rig the boot time is reduced and soon you will be mining.
I know Panda is packaged GPU’s but I’m not sure OP is aware enough of ethash’s reliance on commodity memory architecture and how that precludes ‘ASIC’ (Application Specific Integrated Circuit, rather than ‘black box with fans’) from being developed. So I didn’t want to get too technical.
Ethereum uses a different hashing algorithm to Bitcoin, which makes it incompatible with the special hashing hardware (ASICs) developed for Bitcoin mining. Ethereum’s algorithm is known as Ethash. a memory-hard algorithm; meaning it’s designed to resist the development of Ethereum-mining ASICs. Instead, Ethash is deliberately best-suited to GPU-mining.
A household name like Samsung further legitimises cryptocurrency mining as a viable business venture.  While it will almost certainly be a revenue booster for Samsung, the company shied away from making any financial predictions on its new venture. The true tester will be the mining community’s feedback once the new chips are launched.
There’s a fine balance to be achieved between centralization, security, ‘fair’ distribution, rewarding investors, early adopters, miners, etc. Nothing is yet set in stone and we have several economists building models ahead of our fundraiser announcement.
The attention Bgold has attracted is probably in part because anyone who owns bitcoin (BTC) on October 25th will receive the equivalent amount of BTG. While this model has been criticized, particularly because it presents a burden on service providers and users, it has also proven successful. With the launch of Bitcoin Cash in particular, users eagerly accepted their batch of “free money,” while exchanges, wallets and other service providers proved relatively willing to integrate the new coin.
For the 12/13 GPU mining rigs, the best motherboard to use is a ASRock H110 Pro BTC (Windows can only support 12 AMD GPU’s at the same time, you can combine 12 AMD + 6 Nvidia GPU’s but it’s not worth it, there are some 19+ Motherboards, but from personal experience you will have problems with them, so better stick to 6 or 12 GPU Mining Rigs)
@philakone I would change your insistence on the 347 nvidia driver especially if you’re addressing the new Maxwell cards. The latest version (362.xx) works perfectly fine on Win7/8. Besides, you need cuda 7.5 for Genoil’s miner and that requires a newer driver (352.xx at least – ?). And, you only specify miner settings for AMD that have no bearing on nVidia… “IGNORE EVERY GUIDE”? Oy — but can’t fault you for trying.
Due to the surge in digital assets like Bitcoin and Ethereum, the price of GPUs have also soared, which could create something of a cap on GPU sales from cryptocurrency mining. Higher GPU prices also lower profitability for miners.
Your mining software is the program that will actually perform the calculations necessary to solve hashes. Just like you have a lot of options when it comes to Ethereum wallets, you also have a lot choices when it comes to mining software. A couple of the more popular are Ethminer and Claymore.
Some mining enthusiast swear that Linux is the best operating system for mining. While this did use to be the case, there are stronger disagreements on the topic then previously. While I do prefer Windows, Linux does have it’s advantages and being a slimmer system it can have its upsides. Furthermore, Windows usually comes with a price tag, so if you’re looking for a free option, then Linux is the one for you.
Ethereum’s Ethash algorithm is one of many algorithms designed for optimal mining on GPUs. Generally speaking, a GPU is good for mining all GPU-mineable cryptocurrency (including Ethereum Classic, Monero, Zcash, and Vertcoin). This situation gives GPU miners enviable flexibility, in order to be able to switch between over 40 coins that are based on their current profitability.
Thanks so much, I am starting this now, just for the fun of it and see how it goes. Around R50 a day isn’t bad, on my 6GB 1060. I don’t know my electricity usage yet, but will keep an eye on it and try balance it out. But doubt I am using R50 a day.
If you’re thinking about getting into Ethereum mining, you’ve come to the right place.  Finding the best GPU for mining Ethereum can be tough since having high gaming benchmarks and a high price tag doesn’t necessarily mean the graphics card is the best when it comes to mining.
STEP – repeat that process until you reached 150 MHz or you get a crash/freeze/errors in Claymore . If you got an error before 150 MHz your GPU core is weak and reduce the Core clock rate by 20 MHz of the value that caused the crash.
As the price of Ethereum hovers around $300, you may be wondering to yourself whether or not it’s worthwhile to begin mining. Like Bitcoin, Ethereum is a proof-of-work coin that uses miners to confirm network transactions. The profitability of mining varies from person to person and changes over time – usually becoming less profitable as the coin matures.
