“Ethereum Mining Rig bauen 2018”

For me, my aim was to find out more about the Ethereum network as I am a software developer and the possibility of programming smart contracts is like playing with a giant box of Lego Mindstorm, with unlimited pieces.
Long considered the workhorse of GPU mining, the time has sadly arrived when the RX 400 and 500 series must be put out to pasture—at least for Ethereum mining purposes. Unless you intend to mine other altcoins and can find an RX 580/570/480/470 at a good price, you should shun the rip-off prices that sellers often charge for these cards.
@spagnola – I wasn’t being dismissive at all – I own a few GPUs myself. Maybe my tone was a bit assertive because I tire of seeing individuals with no interest in our technology just ‘wanting to mine’ and then becoming hostile when they quickly realize we’re not yet-another-doge to point pools at.
Good luck and if there are any problems type a comment in at the bottom of this article and the community will help you get started! And that said if anyone has any ideas to make this guide simpler please let us know and we’ll update it as soon as possible! And if this is too difficult you can always follow our other guide on how to cloud mine Ethereum but this might not be as profitable as it initially looks – the no hassle easy method to mine ethereum!
This guide is focused on the Ethash algorithm mining, so the settings and the tutorials from this guide are not optimized for the other mining algorithms like CryptoNight. For this I plan to make another guide or expand this one so that you will understand how to optimize your GPU’s for the other algorithms.
Both Nanopool and Ethermine can run different software to hash for Ethereum. I recommend running Claymore Dual Miner which allows you to hash for both Ethereum, as well as an alternative currency. This is because Ethereum heavily relies on memory usage while the core processor sits idle. While dual mining, the memory of your video card will hash for Ethereum, and the core processor will hash for Decred or Siacoin as an example.
I cant figure it out , the thing I have eth working from the dev builds but no blocks are ever mined for some reason , not sure what to do , I have a Linux test build that works flawlesely but this windows thing is baffling. There are no errors in event log either geth just sits there at starting server so wierd
If you see 0/0, the DAG probably isn’t loaded properly, or you were impatient with geth –rpc and it didn’t sync up, now you’re working on some old block, hashing away, because you didn’t sync properly.
RED – this part shows you the real GPU’s core clock rates and its voltages. In other            overclocking tools you will only see the last one, in this case 1340 Mhz. As you noticed there are 8 of them (P0,P1….P7) and that are the GPU’s core states. This means the GPU switches automatically to default between those states, depending on how much you use the GPU. From all those 8 states, we don’t want the GPU to switch between them, we want it to run stable at the fixed clock rates we put it on. To do that we will need to DISABLE all  the GPU’s states except the last one (P7). You can disable every state from P0 till P7 simply by double clicking on its name (just go with  the mouse over “P0” and doubleclick), you will know if you are successful if that state changes colour.
      EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool us1.ethpool.org:3333 -ewal 0xD69af2A796A737A103F12d2f0BCC563a13900E6F.YourWorkerName -epsw x -dpool http://sia-eu1.nanopool.org:9980/miner/header?”address=YourSiaAddress&worker=YourWorkerName” -dcoin sia
Decide on which service you will like to use for your wallet, and sign up to it. I’ve created a Poloniex account, as I plan on doing some trading with the Ether I mine to try and further increase my profits. Make a note of your address. It should look something like this: 0x7b5eff562ee17b9e27a7af6afc26944266c8b025.
Now after all your GPU’s are flashed with the right upgraded bios we can move on  to the most important step, the mining software part. There are a couple of different popular mining programs, depending on the algorithm they are working with, the most popular are:
That ASIC might earn you 10 dollars profit in the first month. Though due to the constant arms race of acquiring hashing power, your profits would decrease each subsequent month. Here’s a look at the increasing Bitcoin hash rate over the last year.
creates an Ethereum address that will collect the ETH you mine. Geth requires a password to protect your Ethereum wallet. This password should be complex enough not be be attacked easily by brute force or dictionary attacks. IMPORTANT: Note this password down somewhere and keep it safe. Without it, you will never have access to your ETH ever again. Once this is concluded, Geth will output your Ethereum address embedded in curly braces. This is where the Ethereum you mine will be deposited. Save this address in a text file.
Requiring a tremendous amount of computer resources and quite a bit of processing power to solve challenging math problems to produce more impactful and more secure encryption protocols (amongst so many other things), blockchain essentially allows you to earn crypto currency by providing your computer resources to be used by the peer distributed network.
Today going to take a quick look at how current generation GPUs, along with a few older ones, perform when put to the task of Ethereum mining. Cryptocurrency mining is big news at the moment and it seems just about everyone wants in on the action. We are often asked what the best GPUs to mine with are, and since we didn’t have an exact answer we decided to find out.
DDR3 is pretty slow for ETH mining, look at the GDDR5X it’s slower than GDDR5 and DDR3 is way slower for mining, but it would be probably cost effective with those DDR3, seems like DDR4 are too expensive that’s plus.
You will need to enter in the stratum/IP address of your mining pool, then your worker name followed by password for your worker on the mining pool. Note: not all pools require a password, you can just put “123” if you want.
IMPORTANT – be very careful what bios you are going to flash on what GPU, I would recommend you to never have different card types plugged in when you are going to flash, so you don’t flash by accident a wrong bios to a wrong card (even if this is almost impossible, because if you use the AtiFlash properly (as explained in this guide) it should give you a warning that you can’t flash the specific bios, because it’s a different type than your original card)
6/14/2017 Update: A new article has been published that covers mining Ethereum on an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 graphics card that is worth a quick look! We managed to go from 27 MH/s up to over 32 MH/s with some small tweaks!
Note : what about a dedicated OS like EthOS ? Personally, I’m reluctant to pay for a Ubuntu-based distro with “features” that are not utterly impossible to set up manually on a classic distro. Just sayin’.
