“Ethereum Mining Rig Delhi”

And finally epoch 190 way off in the future and here we see that the GeForce 10 series still retains its original performance while the RX 500 and RX 400 series falls away massively. The older R9 390 series remains strong however and still isn’t much slower than the Titan X and 1080 Ti.
If the miner finds a hash that matches the current target, the miner will be awarded ether and broadcast the block across the network for each node to validate and add to their own copy of the ledger. If miner B finds the hash, miner A will stop work on the current block and repeat the process for the next block.
While some people have speculated that Bitmain is working on a new ASIC mining device for Ethereum, there’s no real evidence to back up these claims. Supposedly, this project is code-named Antminer F3 and will consist of three mainboards. With 6 ASIC processors per board, the rumored unit has 72 GB of DRAM memory and is capable of achieving speeds of up to 220 MH/s. It sounds like a dream come true for a lot of Ethereum miners, even though it’s highly unlikely such a system ever be created.
Another reason for a lack of ASIC development is the possibility of Ethereum switching from Proof of Work to Proof of Stake. Proof of Stake does not require any special hardware. Miners want to avoid the scenario of investing millions of dollars in developing and manufacturing an ASIC only for it to become worthless.
Whichever route you take, you’ll want to install as many graphics cards as your motherboard will take. Graphics cards with GPUs made by AMD are particularly popular among Ethereum miners, which has led to < href="http://www.pcworld.com/article/3204149/components-graphics/amd-nvidia-coin-mining-graphics-cards-appear-as-gaming-gpu-shortage-intensifies.html" target="_blank">shortages in supply. If you are ordering online, you might have to wait a while.
It would take a lot of money and research to develop a new ASIC mining unit for Ethereum. Even though the altcoin’s algorithm is not ASIC-resistant by any means, there is no reason for companies such as Bitmain to explore ASIC ventures in the Ethereum ecosystem. That’s because there is a very real chance that Ethereum will switch to proof-of-stake in the near future, which would render any real mining efforts completely obsolete. When the switch to PoS will occur exactly has yet to be determined, though.
All computers are not created equal when dealing with massively parallel processing : either you’ve got a supercomputer with a great number of CPUs, or you create a very customized device…like an ASIC. Third solution : use your GPU, or even better : build a computer with several GPUs !
The P102-100 might become the next important difficulty bomb. Knowing how well previous mining-oriented cards sold (with more than 300k P104 being sold in February alone), we might expect Ethereum difficulty levels to skyrocket soon. I’ll try to get my hands on those cards and test them as soon as possible.
It would mean that I would have to personally persuade each person to send me a little donation and thats simply not worth those 5-10 dollars I initally wanted. Not at all. So I would take some of these developer fees which you wouldn’t get anyway.
But I don’t understand why it wouldn’t be profitable? I understand that the Ethash algorithm needs lots of memory and that’S not cheap. But why hasn’t a company just produced them in bulk for a lower price and made it profitable ?!
Start by decreasing your core clock speed to 1000 mhz from whatever the factory setting was (in the “GPU” area, change the values for state 6 and 7 to 1000 on the Frequency row). Click “Apply” (at the top right). Restart your miner and see how performance looks. There is a good chance that it’s unchanged. If that’s the case, repeat the process, but decrease the core clock speed by another 50 mhz or so. Keep moving down in 50 mhz increments until you notice mining performance drop. When that happens, bump the core clock back up to the previous value—that’s the sweet spot.
Complicating the matter further is that Bitcoin ASICs can often be made to cater to both ends of the spectrum by varying the clock frequency and/or the power provided to the chip (often via a regulated voltage supply). As such, chips can not be directly compared.
Miner cannot just stop if cheat is detected because creators of cheats would know that the cheat does not work and they would find new tricks. If miner does not show any errors or slowdowns, they are happy.
Even though the Ethereum network is maintained by miners who are rewarded with Ether, the Ether supply is not infinite. Each year no more than 18 million Ether can be issued. This system reduces the effects of inflation and the possibility of “lost coins” effecting the value of Ether.
Hello, I was wondering if you could help me with a bios modification question. I have a rig running mostly rx470 mining editions, are these cards already maxed out when it comes to tweeking their bios? Im asking becuase i have tryed to tweek them in the past and run into issues and a loss in hash rate…
The next step is to setup pool mining, as solo-mining is unlikely to make you any Ethereum unless you have a warehouse full of GPUs. Your first step will be to choose an Ethereum mining pool. There are plenty to choose from but we recommend Nanopool or Etheremine. The home page or help section of a mining pool site most likely contains instructions on how to mine on their pool using the popular Claymore miner.
This will take you to the first screen to login to the miner. In the case of the S9 the login box that comes up the username is root and the password is root.  Once you have logged in you will see the system overview. We suggest you go to the Admin tab first and change the password to one of your own choosing. Your next step is to go to the Miner Configuration tab. This is where you will add your information for the mining pool you will want to mine on.
Well lot of information in this article. I also want to start ethereum mining can any one suggest me good graphics card and also I google it and found this site http://www.thecryptomining.info/2017/03/best-hardware-for-ethereum-mining.html can i use these graphics card at that moment.
The mining demand has driven prices well above their normal retail price. That said, the card achieves a hashrate similar to the GTX 1079 Ti and 1080 models. And it’s a fraction of the price and lower power consumption, at least compared to the 1080. However, you must keep in mind that this older technology will have a lower resale value than these Nvidia models (once it’s no longer suitable for mining).
A Radeon RX 470 has a modest hash rate of 24.0MH/s. Its power cost per day is exactly the same as the Radeon RX 480 at $0.4320. Its cost per MH/s is $9.13, giving it a return per day of $1.15 and a return per year of $418.16. Radeon RX 470 will cost you $219.
When you first boot it up, you must have a single GPU connected to the x16 slot closest to the CPU. The initial boot up will take a few minutes. Once that’s done, you will need to change the remote and local config files. To help with this, gpuShack has a fantastic knowledge base. Of course, if you haven’t yet, then you will need to get yourself an Ethereum Wallet/ address.

  1. Crypto currency mining makes it possible to earn money with the computing power of your PC – if you own a powerful graphics card. Especially Radeon GPUs of the RX 470/480 and RX 570/580 series are well suited for this. The older Radeon R9 290/290X cards work fine as well. You can earn about 150 euros a month in Ethereum with a single Radeon RX 480 at the moment. If you have two, this nets you over 300 euros at current prices. Ethereum’s value has increased rapidly in the last few months. In January 2017, one ETH was worth less than 10 euros, but these days, it has increased to well over 300 euros.
    2. All sales are final. No refunds will be granted. Defective miners can be repaired for free if they fall under the Asic Miner Market  warranty policy. After the warranty period, machines can be repaired at the cost of parts and labor.
