Ok so now that you have all the parts, how do you put it all together? you’ve built your own desktop computer before, this will be easy.  If not then take a look at this awesome video on YouTube that shows you step by step on how to put it all together.  The video shows them using Eth OS.
This card has a great deal of fast VRAM, so it will ensure that it’ll be able to mine Ethereum for years to come. However, by the time the DAG increases over 10 (or even 5 or 6) GB, it’s very likely that far more efficient miners will be available. The card’s high upfront costs and considerable power draw mean that it will take some time to reach profitability.
Carefully weigh your options, but whichever card you decide on, be prepared to spend a lot of shopping time at the various retailers and resellers. Only if you keep in mind your budget and power costs, you can hope to find that coin at a “fair” price.

The mining demand has driven prices well above their normal retail price. That said, the card achieves a hashrate similar to the GTX 1079 Ti and 1080 models. And it’s a fraction of the price and lower power consumption, at least compared to the 1080. However, you must keep in mind that this older technology will have a lower resale value than these Nvidia models (once it’s no longer suitable for mining).
First Choice Nvidia GTX 1070 –   The very efficient Nvidia GTX 1070  can produce a hash rate of 30Mh/s using only 100 watts of electricity and is the best GPU for mining in 2018. It is much more power efficient than most of the AMD cards available on the market. My favorite model of this GPU is the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1070 Windforce OC (model # GV-N1070WF2OC-8GD). It has a twin fan design and seems to run cooler than some of the other 1070 models I’ve tested, so I put this card in all the rigs I build currently. If that specific model is unavailable, any of the twin fan overclocked Gigabyte or EVGA cards work great out of the box.  You can also check eBay or find other recommended mining GPU’s in my mining GPU comparison guide.
5. A PSU or Power Supply Unit – Power supply units come in many sizes and this can trip some people up when they are looking at calculating what size they need. You need to sum up the power consumption of your GPU and all the other components and make sure your power supply has the capability to supply more! So if you have two GPU’s that consumes 220 Watts and other components that need 250 Watts then you can get away with a 750 Watt power supply unit as the total power needed is only 690Watts.
Bought a 2-year DASH X11 Contract with Genesis about 2 months ago and I am very happy with it. It has already almost paid 50% of the initial cost. Looks like these contracts have sold out now but I would definitely buy again.
7. From my experience those rigs either need one monitor each 6 gpus or a dummy display adapter. Some people seem to be fine without any of those but my rigs don’t boot without either a monitor or a dummy connected to one of the graphic cards. You can get dvi to vga adapters and insert 3 resistors. Search for it for further information.
Various GPUs have different efficiencies, so you are looking for a balance between the one that makes the most money and consumes the least amount of electricity. GPUs made by AMD and Nvidia are both used for mining. Only the top end GPUs from both companies with the fastest processors and 4GB or more of RAM are used due to the need to perform so many calculations quickly. 4GB is currently the lower limit on GPU memory, but that will go up over time as the DAG file grows. This file is loaded into memory on each GPU and is the transaction database that it is checking against. These GPUs are the primary cost of my new mining rig, weighing in at $200+ each.
