If you want to get serious with mining I strongly recommend using Linux as it isn’t plagued with driver issues, mines more stable, is more flexible for your setups, and (for some cards like the GTX 1070) gets a drastically better hash rate. Personally, I’ve found Claymore to be the strongest and best all round miner. Man sollte es ja auch nicht nur auf den einen Coin beziehen, niemand der ein Mining rig hat, bleibt bei nur dem einen Coin, sobald der nicht mehr Wirtschaftlich ist, wechselt man zu einem besseren, es springen doch ständig immer wieder welche nach oben die recht schnell ins Auge fallen und sich lohnen, man ist da halt Flexibel. Will man nur den einen Coin Minen so kann man nachdem dies sich nicht mehr Lohnt eigentlich 1 zu 1 seine Hardware für den selben Preis Verkaufen, weil andere dann auf andere Coins umsteigen, viele Kaufen dann sogar immer noch nach. bis der Hype gebrochen ist dauert das solange bis die Coins wieder einbrechen, oder man hat das Glück und steigen um 30-40% dann fängt alles wieder von vorne an.

    Gibt man beispielsweise 2100 Euro für die Komponenten aus und sie wären zwei volle Jahre lang konkurrenzfähig, dann kämen pro Tag rund 2,90 Euro für die Amortisation der Hardware hinzu. Damit sich also ein Minin-Rig überhaupt amortisieren kann, müsste es zwei Jahre lang rund um die Uhr störungsfrei laufen und bei konstantem Strompreis von 29 ct/kWh Kryptowährung im Wert von knapp 10 Euro täglich generieren.
    Das Mining von Kryptowährungen ist kein Selbstläufer. Diesen Eindruck kann man bekommen, wenn man die zahlreichen Anleitungen und Empfehlungen im Internet sieht. Derzeit macht es keinen Sinn sich extra für das Mining die Hardware anzuschaffen. Die Bedingungen sind in Deutschland aufgrund des hohen Strompreises alles andere als einfach.
