These are called ‘currency pairs’, and include a base currency and a quote currency. The display below shows the forex pair EUR/USD (Euro/US Dollar), one of the most common currency pairs used on the forex market.
Great guide, I wish I had this a few months ago before I started mknkn. I’ve gone through all this the hard way which is good but this guide is very clear and straightforward. Having said that I wonder if you would have any idea how to fix the issue I have come across. After mining for two weeks on windows 10 with claymore on nanopool @ 6 x 1070 GeForce. My miner went offline. It says “ cannot write a buffer for DAG” CUDA error 77. It also says “an illegal instruction was encountered” and “calc DAG failed” I have increased the virtual memory but that did not work. My hard drive says it has not 15gb of 110.

All transactions in Ethereum (and other cryptocurrencies) are encapsulated within discrete blocks. These blocks are comparable to the batches of transactions which banks send to each other, except in Ethereum they occur every 15 seconds (on average). Blocks are identified by their “height,” starting from 0 and incrementing sequentially until the current block.
A ‘position’ is the term used to describe a trade in progress. A long position means a trader has bought currency expecting the value to increase. Once the trader sells that currency back to the market (ideally for a higher price than he paid), his long position is said to be ‘closed’ and the trade is complete.
There are two main types of retail FX brokers offering the opportunity for speculative currency trading: brokers and dealers or market makers. Brokers serve as an agent of the customer in the broader FX market, by seeking the best price in the market for a retail order and dealing on behalf of the retail customer. They charge a commission or “mark-up” in addition to the price obtained in the market. Dealers or market makers, by contrast, typically act as principals in the transaction versus the retail customer, and quote a price they are willing to deal at.
A single pound on Monday could get you 1.19 euros. On Tuesday, 1.20 euros. This tiny change may not seem like a big deal. But think of it on a bigger scale. A large international company may need to pay overseas employees. Imagine what that could do to the bottom line if, like in the example above, simply exchanging one currency for another costs you more depending on when you do it? These few pennies add up quickly. In both cases, you—as a traveler or a business owner—may want to hold your money until the forex exchange rate is more favorable.

After you have installed the driver restart your PC. If you’ve  already modified your GPU’s before, there might be a possibility that you won’t be able to see them anymore. That is most likely a problem with the RX 570 series and it’s very rare with some RX 580 models. The problem comes from the bios mod, because it changes how the GPU’s work and you  will need to Patch your drivers to make them work properly or  the driver will just end up disabling  or hiding the GPU’s (Error 43). This is only needed if you can’t see your bios’ modified GPU’s in the Windows Device Manager. Download the Pixel Clock Patcher. Run the program, it should give you a message that the values were patched. After that restart your PC and you should have proper working modified GPU’s.
This is a S C A M this is a pure Ad Farm. I screen shot everything and they say I will receive my Ether in my wallet within 72 hours. Its going on a week and I had more than 1000 Finney. If your break-even time is 0 you have likely forgotten to input your hardware cost below. If it is never, your break-even time has been calculated to be greater than 10 years. This is likely due to a large diff change value which causes your predicted profitability to turn negative in the future. You could try lowering the diff change for a less agressive prediction or disable it altogether.
Not everyone gets ETH for mining. Only* the person who created a block gets whole prize(block prize + fees). It may not happen in a year for you. So people unite their power in so-called pools, where chance to create a block is higher. The money is split between everyone according to their contribution(MH/s). But this portion of money is given to miner on demand, stored in pool’s wallet all other time. So there’re two versions:
