Bluemining.net is headquartered in Zwolle, and the mining farms are in The Netherlands. Essentially being an alternative to real cryptocurrency mining, it allows the user to enjoy the benefits of receiving ethereum without having to own any actual equipment. Other advantages include the common dilemma in but are not limited to high electricity costs, connection problems, proper cooling, high noise levels and shipping times.
The service for leasing and renting mining rigs for different crypto algorithms – Mining Rig Rentals has added support for the Dagger-Hashimoto algorithm that is used by Ethereum (ETH) as well as some other coins that have since been forked from it. There are two categories for Ethereum mining rigs available and we need to clarify the difference as there might be some confusion as to why. Dagger-Hashimoto(G) is for rigs that support Getwork while Dagger-Hashimoto(S) is for rigs supporting stratum, most of the Ethereum mining pools do rely on Getwork, though there are a few such as Ethpool that support stratum over their own miner called qtminer as well as getwork with standard ethminer. There is also the option to use a stratum proxy that will translate to getwork requests as an alternative to a pools directly supporting a stratum implementation for mining. The current stats show that out of 55 available getwork rigs 22 are available for renting or about half, but there are no rigs with stratum support currently listed at the service.
Congratulations! You are now the proud operator of your very own custom built 6 GPU ethereum mining rig. Be sure to also check out our reviews of the best Litecoin mining Bitcoin mining hardware.
Mining is the process of adding transaction records to Bitcoin’s public ledger of past transactions (and a “mining rig” is a colloquial metaphor for a single computer system that performs the necessary computations for “mining”. This ledger of past transactions is called the block chain as it is a chain of blocks. The blockchain serves to confirm transactions to the rest of the network as having taken place. Bitcoin nodes use the blockchain to distinguish legitimate Bitcoin transactions from attempts to re-spend coins that have already been spent elsewhere.
You are probably aware that Bitcoin cloud mining had a few issues in the past. There were a lot of companies that were deceptive. They pretended to have mining facilities, often taking photos from other providers and claiming them as their own, but in reality, they did not own anything, and they just took your money. Cloud mining providers often disappeared with your Bitcoins (we already lost some money when we tested various cloud mining providers for our readers).
First time when I heard this web site, I did not believe mining performance. But day by day they return much. Until now I think they did outstading performance. So I am satisfied. ps. I bought 2 year Zcash mining product not 1 year. Please check my order and let me know. Thanks
Hello, first, thank you for the tutorial, miner appears to be functioning. Hoever, it’s not working properly on my machine. I keep getting a Watchdog Error: must restart GPU. Please help me sort this error out. Thanks.
BTC value changes every day as does the difficulty etc so this is only ever a guide – and it says that so use it as such. I think this is a great resource to use if you use it with a pinch of salt as they say – its not financial advice.
Never underestimate the power of the Radeon RX 400 series. The Radeon RX 480 is not only the cheapest GPU in this list, it is also easily the most economic GPU. This card has a hash rate of 25 MH/s while only drawing 150 W at max load. You’ll make over $700 USD annually per card! Comparitively to the RX 580, this card is an awesome Ethereum miner!

Make sure you have gas clouds displayed in your overview, as they are not selectable by default. To do this, right click the overview, select open overview settings, select the filter tab, open the celestials folder, and check the Harvestable Clouds box (see screenshot right).
There is a fourth possibility; which is that I missed the AMD driver update which fixed the speed problems for RX cards. I will do some more research and update the article. Thanks for pointing out the error though.
Additionally, the miner is awarded the fees paid by users sending transactions. The fee is an incentive for the miner to include the transaction in their block. In the future, as the number of new bitcoins miners are allowed to create in each block dwindles, the fees will make up a much more important percentage of mining income.
@FeelTheBern well, I’m mining and still expanding my operation, so you should be able to infer from that. But, I’ve also been doing this for a long time (in the crypto world anyway), a chunk of my GPUs were kept from the litecoin mining days.
